Anyone an expert on ovulation pains?

I get 5days of ovulation pains each month, which is quite handy when your TTC. The only problem is the OTk's don't reflect this and I get negative ones during or at the end of this pain?! I would have thought I'd officially ovulate on the last day of this pain - no?

days is a lot - I understood that normally they only last a few hours

Have you seen a GP?

When does you OTK say you ovulate and what days does the pain occur through?

It's not really understood but (I think) that most people think the pain is from the egg being 'released'

I know very confusing! I have seen my GP who is referring me as she thinks I suffer with endometriosis which I have to agree with but we're desperate to TTC no 2 ASAP if thats the case. Can't understand pains and -ve result tho. Unless the egg pops out a few days later after the paisn have stopped?

Do you get any of the egg white CM too?

I've had the pains but generally found them to be unreliable, but the EWCM is much better indicator, on day of most copious amounts is ovulation day...

I got it right for first time of trying last June - baby coming in 6wks!

The test will be if concieving on day of ovulation means a boy (as per the old wives tale) or not!

Am not TTC (got 2 DDs already) but I get about 2 days of on/off ovulations pains. When I saw the GP about it a few years back she said it was normal and to just take paracetamol

i get a twinge on whichever side im ovulating on, just a few minutes, which is handy as i have only 1 tube working. so i could have a month off ttc....not.
