Hi Wishing

I have used pre-seed. No idea why, really, as I produce lots of EWCM, but I guess I feel better throwing money at my ftc problem!!

I used a bit too much and it was very squishy. DH was not pre-warned and afterwards asked (sounding shocked) "what on earth did you put in your fanny?".

The brand you want is simply called Pre-seed and you can get it from Access Diagnostics. I wouldn't get anything else (there is, for example, something called Pre) as I don't know if they are harmful to sperm. I got the single use applicator thingies which apart from the comedy noise when you insert the stuff are easy to use.

Also, do make sure you are drinking plenty of water - without it your body won't make EWCM.

Like MrsHappy, I don't necessarily need it, but feel better doing everything we can on the TTC front...
I must say I found it strangely sticky and not at all slippery as I'd expected (not sure if it changes texture when it's in the appropriate place, but we used it before the deed and were surprised by the stickiness) DH liked it though, so we'll certainly be using it again.

We got ours from Homehealth, and also got the single use ones. Next time, I might get the multi-use ones though because the single use ones are rather generous...

Hi Wishing. We got the big tube with separate applicators from Access Diagnostics. We personally found it really helpful, especially for those times when we needed to BD without especially feeling like it - it helped the whole thing along.......

Worked for us - I got my BFP last week - although we were using it for about 3 months.

Wishing · 02/02/2009 19:43

congrats on your bfp treats, it gives me some hope, how long were you ttc before you tried it if you dont mind me asking?

im hoping it will help as i seem to have a very long cycle but want to really try extra on bd front this month and get dh sperm moving but worried we will be a bit fed up and find it hard by cd 30/31 which is when im expecting to ov!

Hello. Replied to you on my other thread where I've also listed all the vitamins that DH was taking. Hope that's useful.

DH and I were trying for 15 months and were using Pre-Seed for the last three, as well as giving up alcohol and taking the vits. I can't be sure if that was the key thing that helped us - or just that we had a nice relaxing start to 2009 with much less frenetic activity than in December.

CD 30/31 seems very late to ovulate. Have you been to the GP for blood tests to check your hormones?

Hope it goes well for you. Good luck!

i have twice and dr says everything is fine, but i have had 2 cycles at 46 days now??

i was using persona last month and got a positive ov symbold at cd 15, but dr thinks i had an early mc just before xmas. we didnt think about ttc over xmas and just bd away without any thought, i was a lot more chilled and following no period after a 5 weeks did a hpt which was negative, did an opk test and it was positive and low and behold i have come on about 16 days later?

I apreciate that early mc could have effected everything so this is why im charting everything possible this month and covering all options before returning to gp - gp has been very insensitive and just keeps telling me to relax it will happen!

thank you for your help, and sorry for all the posts and qus but you have your bfp abnd seem to have had a tought time getting there so your a hugh hope to me right now!

i sure it wil be a sticky one for you too!

xxxxx
