Do you need to start using Persona at the start of your cycle?

Or could I start using it a few days into my cycle? I'm about to have my AF, but have spotted a cheap Persona on Amazon (well, cheap compared to Boots ), and would rather order that than pay full price. However starting to get v.impatient at not conceiving and if they do work, don't really want to wait another month. Thanks.

Don't know about clearblue but Persona you can start using up to 5 days into your cycle as you just hold down the "m" button til it registers you are on day 5.
Clearblue probably has something similar.

Because it is important for the monitors to know what day 1 of your period is they probably wont work if you start using them midcycle. You would completely confuse it and since it uses data on previous cycles to predict next fertile period you would get wacky results for subsequent months so probably not worth risking it this month unless you can get it in next 5 days.

I love my persona- havent concieved with it yet but been using it for 3 years (most of that for contraception) and I think its brilliant!
