Implantation Bleeding?

My husband and I have been TTC baby no 2 for 14months now.

AF was all over the show for about 10 months, (40 day cycles etc).
Then 2 months ago they went back to normal (around 31 days).

I have been doing ovulation kits each month and this month go at strong positive for ovulation. My husband and I made love every day from 2 days before to 2 days after.

Ovulation was on sunday and today (friday - 5 days after) I noticed a small steak of blood when I wiped after going to the toilet. It had some mucus with it and it was quote red. After I wiped once it was gone and I haven't had any since.

Potentially yes. Let's hope so, it's the right sort of timing and sounds like the right kind of appearance ime.

I thought it could be.

I don't know what it was like with DS1 as he was a lovely suprise! so wasn't watching for signs.

Any ideas on how soon I can do a test that actually stands a chance of being accurate? Does it have to be when AF due or can I test before?

Well I leave it until my 13th day post ovulation and that has been a reliable day for me.

Some people do get really early positives but they are more unusual and you will potentially just get yourself more wound up with unnecessary negative tests even if you are pregnant. I think the tests that say you can test from 10 days before your period's due assume your period will start on the 15th day after ovulation, therefore you can test on the 11th day - however that is really quite early and try to leave it longer if you possibly can.

When you do test do it with first morning urine.
