worried bout my low temps, will i still ovulate?

i started taking my temps 6 days after my mmc, they are very low. have seen the doc whos sent me for blood tests to see if i have a under/over active thyroid. now im worried that i wont ovulate, this months chart is totally different from all the others. does anyone have any idea whats happening. thank you, dianne

Don't know about the temps, but I read something on here the other day that suggested that an (untreated) under active thyroid could cause miscarriage or affect the IQ of the baby. So if you are ttc, I would maybe wait until you get the test results and get the thyroid sorted out if needed, or at least ask the doc about possible consequences of trying to conceive if you do have thyroid problems. An underactive thyroid is usually quite easy and quick to get sorted out with medication btw. Don't know about an over active one. Good luck.
