acupuncture - cycle gone haywire

Had acupuncture for the 3rd time and now AF (usually 4 days regular and light) has lasted 22 days. OPK showed i didn't ovulate past 2 months - but i missed a test when travelling so I think that skewed it. Have ditched OPK - but if i do ovulate again - how will i tell and where do I start counting? I've had two more acupuncture sessions but not sure whether to continue. I'm 40, TTC for one year, dd age 2. I've ordered Take Charge book, but until that arrives grateful for any advice, insight...

Would seek medical advice asap - bleeding of this length is not normal. Something is causing this and it is certainly in your interests to find out what it is.

As you are 40 and have been ttc for one year I would seek medical advice anyway re ttc. Blood tests can be done to see what your hormone levels are like; your egg quality needs to be determined.

Realise that you've ordered the Take charge book but I think you are well beyond that actual stage.

Godo luck, do seek medical advice asap.
