asthma inhalers and ttc - anyone know?

I have been given inhalers for my ongoing cough - blue and brown. Despite the fact that after taking the blue one I threw up immediately, having just done both I feel immeasurably better already. Doctor said the brown one, the steroid one, okay when ttc or pregnant if the need is greater than the harm - eg if the risk of staying ill is worse than the risk of using the inhaler. However this isn't the case - I am not hugely ill except for cough lasting over a month which makes me throw up when I cough too much.

What do you ladies think? GP said can use them for a month then stop. Am on 2ww now.

If they made you feel better than you need them.

I had to take mine when pg/breastfeeding.

I take those and more all the time. There is no way I could come off them for either TTC, pregnancy or breastfeeding. It's fine, honestly. Drugs delivered direct to the lungs mean you can have a lower dose and therefore less is circulating around your blood, so it's really very low risk.

Far better to get yourself well and stop worrying.
