silly ovulation question. [blush]

this is my 2nd cycle ttc. i have been temping and using opks. ff has said that i ovd on day 11 and then this morning changed it to day 13. opk was positive on day 13 and nothing on them now. my question is... do you actually feel/know when you ovulate? i dont feel any different and have not had any ewcm this cycle so far... can this happen?

Hi Bubblebell1 - Have you heard of the book called "How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby" ???

Well although you aren't trying to conceive a particular sex, the chapters dedicated to tracking ovulation are fantastic! I wouldn't waste your monkey on opks. Instead learn how your body works. This will allow you to pin point quite accurately, when you ovulate each month.

I never knew when I ovulated, but now I do and am finally expecting my second DC in May

I don't know about the EWCM question - I always get some for around 5 days - drinking more water should increase the amount, enabling you to see it - or have you followed Fertility Friend's instructions on how to check for EWCM up near the cervix ?

I notice slight cramping on one side - just for an hour or two on one day and then it returns for the same amount of time the next day. It sometimes feels slightly uncomfortable (heavy feeling in uterus) if I sit on something hard around that time (like a loo seat).

My appetite rockets and I become very loving (horny !!) for a couple of days - as soon as I have Ov'ed, my libido plummets again. I also notice a sweeter smell to my wee. It took me a while to work all this out though

Maybe the thing to do is to write down every little niggle / feeling / emotion you identify around the period that temping and OPK's suggest you are ovulating and see if you can detect a pattern ?

thanks Jools. i guess i just thought i would know when i have ovulated by feeling different somehow. gonna keep check of my body and see what happens.im now on cd19 since last post ive started getting EWCM and my cervix is HSO and twangs in my lower abdo. so i think that perhaps FF got it wrong.
