So how often does it actually occur - No positive on HPT?

Hio all

ive been ttc for ages and am in process of getting fertility help, have had positive on HPT before but ended in MC. Currently on something like CD60, have had 65 day cycle before, so not getting hopes up, and hence fertility help.

was however just wondering how many of you have never gotten a positive on HPT despite being pg?

with dd i was still testing -ive at 9+4. they did a quantative test in the hospital and my HCG levals were 18 they only sent me for a scan to see if i needed a d&c, there was no question i'd miscarried in their minds.

it's her 4th birthday next week

with ds i did a HPT (at approx 10 weeks by a scan later on) and it was very faintly +ive, he was also completely fine

with this preg i weirdly got a lovely strong +ive at 5 weeks.... it seems my body finally figured out what it was supposed to do, lol

I did not see this thread as I was posting a new one, but as I typed there:

Both my mum and my sister had negative tests while pregnant. They found out 3 and 4 months pregnant respectively via other means. But I don't think either of them had blood tests, only negative urine tests.

PinkTulips: looks like you might have answered the question I posted in the new thread, that it would not be worth my while going for a blood test to see if I am pg, as it would not help. I am now having my longest delay in period following ovulation, and wondering whether AF is just late or if I am pg. But due to my mum and my sisters experience of pregnancies with no positive tests, it could be that and looks like I will just have to wait until later to get an answer!

it does seem to be gentic as my mother also didn't test positive with me.
