FEEL LIKE IVE BEEN TRYING FOREVER!!!!!

Im just whining here but i feel like ive been trying for a lifetime! i already have a little one whos 4 and was on the depo for 2 years after i had him. but when i came off it, it took a year for my periods to come back and we ve just been trying to no avail (not strictly true-has miscarraige in dec). ive now started to use the ovulation kits - i just want a baby! its not taking over my life or anything-just feeling low so im moaning on.... its really because with my 1st we concieved the 1st time we tried-i know that was really lucky....just wanted to chat to someone who was going through the same stuff....

You've got plenty of company, milosmum. ((HUGS)). There are plenty of us TTC no. 2 ladies here who are going through what you are. In our case, it took a while for us to conceive DD as well. I came off the Pill in October and only just now ovulated this past week.

Have you tried Persona or Calista? A wonderfully generous graduate of the TTC threads gifted me a Persona (hopefully covered in baby dust!) and I'm really impressed with it! So easy to use as well.

Accupuncture helped me conceive DD, and I'll be going back in June when things settle down financially for us.

ahh honey im sure it will happen for you my sisiter took a yeat before she fell for her dd1 but dd2 only took 2 months! it will happen when its ment to be

hi every one i come of depo in august 04 and been trying for number 2 but still nothing havnt even had a period yet ...really feel down as i feel really quick with no.1 ....

know what you mean milesysgirl. your periods will come back-i promise- i thought mine never would... i also got pregnant really quick with the 1st. thanks to you all it has cheered me a little, good to know others are so close by (just a click of the mouse!).im currently using ovulation kits but i only started 4 days ago and am waiting for the "right time". lucky, though, my hubby wants another just as bad so doesnt mind the idea of doing it "on demand". I worry if its because im a little overwieght but since xmas i have made an effort and lost almost 2st and im doing exercise-so ive certainly looked at that option.....

Dont mean to sound patronising and i am sure you have charted your OV etc... but are you checking your cervical mucus??? I got pregnant straight away by this method, as did my sister. My hairdresser was chatting to me the other day and telling me how she has been "trying" for ages with no joy ... i told her about the cervical mucus thing (which she wasnt aware of) the next month she noticed it, and got PG!!!

I was trying for 18 months and got pregnant after 3 months of acupuncture. Not sure if it was a coincidence but I thought you might like to know.

I know it is really difficult but you really have to be patient and try not to get stressed out as this does not help. It was trying for 6 years (4 of which were on fertility treatment) before I had my dd and 4 years ( 2 on treatment) before I had my ds, so I know how difficult and emotional it is. Good luck to all of you who are trying at the moment and try not to let it take over your life, it does not help believe me, I know cos I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt!!

Me too and i feel like i have been saying it on this forever. I just strted a new thread as in loads of pain at the mo. I did accupunture with dd only the once but fell pg, went last week and the woman said nope couldn't have happened and won't do it again.

just thought id update this thread.... still trying on cd14 but the opks have no luck so far....hows everyone else doing???
