is it possible to ovulate within a week of your af finishing?

Yes I believe so, although it's less common than late ovulation. Do you have short cycles?

Yes, esp if you have a long AF.

I sometimes ovulate on day 10, so it would be pretty easy for that to happen to me.

my cycles range from 29 to 31 days, and im sure i ovulate about 8 to 10 days from when my af starts as i start with the bloating and stomach cramps, which means im probably missing my ovulation day as i have been going by what the internet says, and bding around the 16th day give or take days before and after,and the fact it says its impossible to ovulate so early, but surely i would know my own body

ckc, I'm the same. 29 to 31 day cycle and I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating around day 10. I thought I should be trying around day 16 but the ovulation tests show I;m not ovulating then so think I need to test earlier.

ckc... i think i do too. ff said i ovd day 11 due to thermal shift and opks bewildered really as usually have 30 day cycle. so could i still have a 30 day cycle if i ovd on day 11?? is it ok to have a 19 day lf?

bubblebell1 don't know really this is why im asking as i am really confused too, my cycles are always the same just can't understand why i think i ovulate so early its just the symptoms i keep getting this time every month, this is why i had to ask if it was possible...x

ckc ive trawled websites and apparantly its not a prob if your lf is between 12 and 17 days. the body acts in mysterious ways and i am going to just keep up with bd ing every otherday until i get af or a bfp.. if i find anything else i will pass it on

The only reason I think I'm ovulating earlier is because I started using ovulation sticks on day 12 and the surge line was dark but not quite as dark as test line. Now I'm not getting a line at all so think I missed my ovulation and that the sticks picked up the tail end of my ovulation. This happened when I conceived ds1 but luckily I had bonked anyway and got pregnant.

Well timed then first time then , when you bd either every other day or around ovulation does it matter if it's morning noon or night?

Does bd mean using ovulation sticks? Sorry but I'm not quite up to speed with all the terminology! If so, I test first thing in the morning as it says if you test during the day you shouldn't urinate for 4 hours and limit your intake of fluid, both of which I would find difficult!

Tested this morning and still not ovulating but I have a dull ache, could this be implantation? we bd on Friday so surely that would be too soon for implantation? Think I'm just getting my hopes up!

Think is bit too soon but I wouldn't know that's why I'm on here asking question, but would be ace if it was fingers crossed for us both eh I've bin trying the every other day tactic bet dh sick of me ....x

Well got the ewcm today sorry if tmi but this is 4 days earlier than my dates on the Internet was telling me. Why so early?

Well you get EWCM for a few days prior to ovulation, not just on the day - is that what you are asking ?

Get busy as soon as you see the EWCM - the swimmers can survive a while in there and wait for the egg, so you will build up some supplies for when the egg is released
