Adive re Ebay tests.

Hello there.

Im due my af on Sunday or Monday and I tested today using an ebay cheapie but in was a bfn.
How sensitive are these? Do they really work?
I have had a low ache and cramps for 5 days, feeling queeszy sometimes and have been slightly light headed at times, Im also very tired. These are also af symptoms I know.
I dont normally have the low dull aches for this long when my af is due.
I have got 2 ds's and can remember feeling like this both times but as I say these are all af symptoms too.
Any experience with these Ebay tests?

I got a BFP with an ebay cheapy test the day before my period was due - hadn't tried any earlier though. I don't know much about them but I understand they aren't as sensitive as some of the shop bought ones.

If you don't want to wait until after the weekend to test again, could you try one of the First Response ones perhaps?

how sensitive does it say the test is?

EldonAv I think it said 20 which is meant to be slightly more sensitive but who knows.
I cant stand waiting, Im such an impatient person. Plus i dont want to execpt the -tive.

10 is the most sensitive
some high st ones are 25-50
best to wait til you are late but I know it's hard
how soon did you get a + with your DSs

Well with ds 1 it was the 2nd cycle and ds2 it was the first!
I think thats why I expect it to happen fast!
Ive woken with cramps again but no af however I have had my big af spot come up and my typical af sore throat so not a good sign.....

sorry I meant how soon in terms of your period being late? eg 3 days before or 3 days after your AF was due

I don't ever get a +ve test result until I am at least a week late

Peachespaige you sound how I feel. Wondering if Im preg w 4th dc! Still breastfeeding almost 7m old ds but we were abit 'risky' in the week starting 2009, had ewcm the day after one occasion that made me paranoid! Ive been having period type achy feeling in lower back, hips and tummy feels tender for over a week now. Other 'symptoms' are a drugged sleepy feeling the other night (dh said he hadnt seen me like that since preg for 1st time), shooting pains in boobs (maybe from breastfeeding?) Sharp pains at top of my head (dont normally get headaches) yday I had the queasy kind of headache you get before you feel sick iykwim. I also noticed the kitchen towel smelt (?!) and wanted to sniff olbas or peppermint oil. Keep waiting for AF to show as Ive been getting BFN with my ebay tests but still no sign other that the feeling!!! Feel like Im goin insane, just want to know one way or another. Didnt get a BFP til quite late with the other 3 but have no idea when my period would be due or even if Ive ovulated! Argh!!!

ebay cheapie tests are fine and reliable, just cheap because none of the packaging.

I tested + at 8dpo with them, but they were the most sensitive.

I havent ever tested early before so could be that I dont have as much hormone as some...clutching at straws!
I seem to have mild pains down my right side of abdomen which is strange. I dont think Ive experienced the metallic in mouth thing but am aware of my fillings, they feel shiny when I rub my tongue over my teeth...not thaht I have that many you understand lol. Im going to test tomorrow again!
