You need an early pregnancy test. First response is a normal one, I think. So, you would only get a pos result after you miss. I bought early tests really cheap on ebay from fertility plan and they arrived the next day. I had avery faint line 4 days before and it gradually became darker each day.

The manufacturers of First Response have to spend shit loads of money testing the accuracy of those tests. By reading the leaflet it will tell you the accuracy X number of days before your AF is due. But if you want to be really sure wait until you're overdue and then test. Sorry no magic answer - no crystal ball !! Saw you posting on another thread - I hope your GP gave you some better contraceptive advice too Hope you get the result you want

Are First Response early pregnancy tests, though? There is a way of finding out, I'll have a look.

I've used 'early' pregnancy tests before and still not had a +ve with them until at least 1-4 days after AF due.

I got a positive 5 days before AF on a normal pregnancy test, it really depends on your body! my friend didn't get a positive until 2 weeks after AF was due
