ah thanks for the welcome all. Im in the south, (22 in feb so nearly)currently TTC#1, generally quite happy-go-lucky but this failure to concieve is starting to get me down! HAve been PG twice before Had very early MC with one, and one at 8 weeks . Im quite lucky in that i have a very good friend whose already has kids, aswell as several friends who havent. Have been with DP 6 years.

am not really into temping or charting, at the moment anyway, as my periods are not right, dont currently know if im even ovulating, have a consultants apt shprtly so ive been feeling like im getting somewhere!im not the most regular MN-er, tend to come on once a week or so, as i find i get a bit too obsessed with what i want otherwise . I do tend to test quite often for all the good it does me!!(DP says i should buy shares in CB digi) So thats me really anyway....

AngelFairy · 18/01/2009 16:11

theboob · 19/01/2009 07:29

well i tested again this morning and its a BFP !!!!!!! i can get excited now , good luck to everyone but i'm going to hang around like a bad smell on these ttc threads lol

sammysam · 19/01/2009 07:37

Morning all! I'm so scared-you may have seen my other thread (thank you katster!) just hoping and praying that tomorrow comes still with no af (well no af for the next 9months would be the ideal ) and I can test again and get a BFP again. But even then i'll be scared after things i've read about false positives -this is when the internet is really a bad idea!

Congratultions boob how exciting-lets hope I can definately join you!

Angel I think you are just testing too early-i'd definately suggest that no one tests early-it causes too much trouble

Welcome bbeing and good luck everyone!

Cold still in full swing-another reason i'm so shocked-i'm not the best 'home' at the mo-especially with all the coughing-i'm pulling all kinds of muscles and worrying even more

Sticky baby dust to everyone **

theboob · 19/01/2009 07:40

what will your Edd be sammy sam, mine will be 1st oct
keeping fingers crossed for you x x

sammysam · 19/01/2009 07:55

boob Fingers crossed.....wispers....the same as you!
Did you test early as well boob?
Maybe i'd be less paranoid if I wasn't so ill

bubblebell1 · 19/01/2009 08:07

samm i can remember worrying the whole time i was pregnant that something terrible was goin to happen.. im sure AF will stay away and am sending loads of sticky babydust to you and boob

FF changed my ov day this morn from 11 to 13 but we bd on 6,8,10,12,15 do u think thats enough?? (god im paranoid) i couldnt bare to go thru this another month

sammysam · 19/01/2009 08:26

Yes-I think that is enough bubble keeping my fingers crossed for you. Thank you for your kind words. I wish I could be positive-we have been trying for so long (although not as long as a lot of people-I know) even though I had symptoms I really wasn't expecting it at all-maybe yet another reason i'm so sceptical

bubblebell1 · 19/01/2009 08:48

sammy i just read your other thread... i had abdo cramping with ds2.. aparantly its normal.. gp said something about body stretching and moving or implanting. if i were you then i would make an app to see your gp. explain your worries and see if they canbook you in for an early scan. just to make sure everything is ok.

sammysam · 19/01/2009 08:53

thanks bubble thats the kind of thing I need to hear! Got quite a busy day today so hopefully i'll keep my mind off it...then test in the morning and (fingers crossed) if everything is ok i'll ring the gp as you suggested-an early scan would be great!
I don't know how i felt with dd (could have been exactly the same) the first I knew with dd was going to the docs as I thought i has=d the winter sickness bug and he said are you pregnant?! I'm off to check my diary to see when that was....starting to feel sick now (or is that the cold?!) x x x

oneyummymummy · 19/01/2009 09:00

CONGRATULATIONS on all the BFP's! At this rate Im going to be the only one left on this thread

I can remember pains when I was PG with DD they were on one side a lot too, they sent me for a scan but they said it was just the implantation (coz it was on one side they thought it could be eptopic) but I just lknew it was different and had crampy pains but no AF....I just kinda 'knew' if you know what I mean...no other symptoms!

Im going out later after ive got all my morning work out of the way, so by tonight I (and all of you of corse) will know either way!

Have we got anyone waiting to try next month now? Can't wait to update the list, but Ill wait until everyone is ready [holding in my excitement emotion]

lam81 · 19/01/2009 10:05

congrats to all bfp's!!
can i ask what cd u all tested on i'm only on cd 19,so know i have a bit of a wait, was thinking i could test next monday which would be cd 26 of a 29 day cycle, what do u think??

also last twice i'v been pg i'v defo had sore boobs etc along with other symptoms, but cant remember when i started to notice them, when did u start to notice symptoms?

sorry im getting a bit obsessed now!! x

Joy27 · 19/01/2009 10:44

theboob and sammy, so pleased for you both! Anyone else had any news?

lam I wouldn't bother testing on CD26 if I were you, as most tests won't detect a BFP that early and you'd likely be setting yourself up for disappointment. If you can hold out until CD29, I would!

oneyummymummy, don't worry about being the last one left... I'm not holding out a great deal of hope for this month either, and feeling quite frustrated about it.

I'm on CD10. BD-d on CD8 and plan to get in a few tries this week. But we have a v small house with a housemate on the other side of our bedroom wall during the week- makes it tricky to bd as I'm not as silent as perhaps I might be . And as I've moaned about before, my partner is off on a work trip from CD14-16 (shorter trip than I feared- but still crucial dates!). I've decided not to join him as it would be too much of a mission and can't afford it.

So my plan is to BD on CD10, 12 and 13- and one for good luck on CD16 when he gets back. I hope this will be enough

How is everyone feeling on this chilly Monday?

lam81 · 19/01/2009 10:59

thanks joy i know ur right will try and stick to ur advice!at least u r still having a fair shot at it this month,i know how u feel,i'm scared i missed crucial dates this month too,but keep telling myself it only takes once to get u pg!!

yummy when ru due to be testing?tonight?how exciting!

fingers crossed for everyone x

oneyummymummy · 19/01/2009 11:08

Yes testing tonight, have no idea what CD i am on so waited as long as possible, and because ive had crampy pains but no AF, I cant wait any longer!! I am nearly done with all my work, so then I will be going out, so will get a test on the way home for sure!!!

Joy27 · 19/01/2009 11:57

oneyummymummy- fingers crossed and keep us posted!

bubblebell1 · 19/01/2009 18:33

how did it go 1yummy???????

oneyummymummy · 19/01/2009 18:44

So I took a test today.......................

and..........

NOTHING! I bought a dud test! NO lines appered anywhere, so apparently that means the test didnt work! It was only a supermarket own brand cheapy one, but still.....I would have thought it would work!

How is everyone else?

oneyummymummy · 19/01/2009 18:47

I cant believe it because now I have to wait until I need another big wee again, and your not supposed to drink more than usual amount, so ive gotta wait a few hours, and then thats my last test! So if they are both duds then I'll have to wait till tomorrow! Not sure if anyone has ever taken used PG tests back to the shop before on the grounds that they didnt work, but dont think Im brave enough to try!

bubblebell1 · 19/01/2009 18:50

Oh 1yummy! how annoying for you

try again in the morn. that is your strongest specimen. or do u wanna know tonight??

Joy27 · 19/01/2009 18:51

oneyummymummy- gah! How very frustrating! Why don't you wait until tomorrow morning- aren't you supposed to test with the first wee of the day?

Yeah not sure about taking it back to the shop... kudos to you if you do though!

oneyummymummy · 19/01/2009 18:54

I dont think I can wait until the morning, Ive been sooo patient waiting until now to test, and thinking I'd know either way and now the suspence is killing me! I JUST CANT WAIT!

Although I was thinking earlier that I should try in the morning as if it is an early +tive then it would be more likely to pick up on it!? But im not patient enough, even writing this now, Im thinking 'could I go and test again now, do I need a wee'

Glad someone else is on here tho, I couldnt believe it when it happened!

oneyummymummy · 19/01/2009 18:56

Think the morning one is more concentrated, but most test you can use anytime of the day!

Sorry x-posted-- Glad that TWO of you are on here!

bubblebell1 · 19/01/2009 19:00

i am only 3dpo and i want to test so im no good i do hope its a bfp... you could write to the address on the box... someone on another thread did that and got a voucher... saves the embarrasment of taking in a pee stick
