Hi joy

im ok thanks... everything seems to of settled down quickly.. which i am really gratefull for. i think i would of fallen apart if it was a long drawn out process.

its been 2 weeks on wed since the bleeding started and ive started getting an abundance of ewcm. im not supposed to be using opks (according to my new relaxed approach)but i am sooo tempted to see if im ovulating. I dont know if you can so soon after a mc?

Dont beat yourself up about the lack of bding... we have done it once in a week and i dont think thats enough to get pg either!!
It only takes once.. if you time it well then who knows

i hope you feel better soon... sending a luvly box of chocs your way to cheer you up

Joy27 · 02/03/2009 15:06

Aw thanks bubble. I'm just stamping my foot a bit. Will be fine... as you may know, I have had a cosmic feeling about March for a while now, so maybe it's all part of the masterplan that will see us conceive next cycle

I'm glad things have settled down for you. Not sure about the EWCM- I've heard of lots of people who got pg straight after a miscarriage, so it's definitely worth putting in a bit of exerted effort right now, I'd say. I bet you are ovulating. The question is, can you resist the OPKs...?

Joy27 · 02/03/2009 17:52

God, this is embarassing, but I've just posted a whole thread about it "out there" so may as well share here.

Having thought it was all over for this month, I'm suddenly inundated with EWCM. How can this be? Am on CD22, not 21 as I said earlier (oops), and was pretty darn sure I'd ovulated a good few days ago if not longer.
I'm not sure whether to be slightly worried or please? Should I be worried, do you think?

If you'd told me a year ago that I'd be writing on the internet about my cervical mucus I would have been horrified

bubblebell1 · 02/03/2009 20:02

joy im sorry, i have no idea why you could be gettin this... fingers crossed its late ovulation due to you bein ill and the stress of working away so you can bd tonight and tomorrow to make sure u catch that egg.

amyboo · 03/03/2009 10:08

Oh my God! I just got a bfp. A very definite bfp - dark line appeared in about 30 seconds!

Argh. Am shaking. This is scary!

amyboo · 03/03/2009 10:08

Oh, and congratulations fairyanne.

bubblebell1 · 03/03/2009 10:16

Joy27 · 03/03/2009 12:13

Congratulations Amyboo, that's fantastic!
Am I right in thinking you'd only just started ttc? So great to hear some good news.

amyboo · 03/03/2009 12:28

Thanks Joy27. I stopped taking the pill at the end of December, so this was my second cycle. Didn't really expect it to be so quick!

fairyanne · 03/03/2009 16:58

Congratulations Amyboo thats fantstic.

I'm now starting to worry, tested again this mmorning to see if line was darker and wider than yesterday and it was negative
Continued with strange brownish discharge, some cramping and 1 spot of blood but no AF so feeling v confused and that the test yesterday was wrong. Going to the GP tomorrow am so I'm hoping they might help? I can't help but think I have got my hopes up too soon and am also wondering where is AF?????

bubblebell1 · 03/03/2009 17:31

Fairyanne i hope that you get a more definate bfp tomorrow.

what brand of tests are you using?

sending hugs your way babe... xxxx

Joy27 · 03/03/2009 18:09

Oh poor you fairyanne. I hope your GP can put your mind at rest/you get a positive test. It's a bloody rollercoaster isn't it?

fairyanne · 03/03/2009 18:49

Thanks everyone, your support means a lot ! I have been using the 10mui from ebay and some from pound land (sent to me by the in laws!). The +ve was an ebay test. I daren't try th others now although I do have a CB digital in the cupboard, I'm not sure how many negatives a girl can take! You're right it is a rollercoaster, and not the kind I like!..time will tell I suppose.

fairyanne · 04/03/2009 15:49

Hi all,

I went to the GP today who has done a blood test but as I am now bleeding (started this pm but still light)she is pretty certain I am having an early mc due to the tests now being negative

I have to wait till tomorrow for the results......

Joy27 · 04/03/2009 16:37

bubblebell1 · 05/03/2009 09:19

Morning Girls!

how are you all?

ray81 · 05/03/2009 09:52

Hi Guys,

Amyboo, Congratulations and well done i hope all goes well for you.

Fairyanne, about the mc i know what you are going through as i have been there and i know the mixture of emotions you must be feeling. My Mc happened the same way i had a light +ive and then a much darker one and then 3 days later a -ive and i hadnt even started bleeding so your doc is probably right and that it is an early MC.

Bubble, thanks for asking how i am sorry i havent been on, I'm ok am on CD10 and have been temping although DD came in at 5 and i jumped out of bed without taking temp and then as i had just finished going for a wee remembered i was going to do OPKs so today is out the window, will have to Bd just to be sure. Although no sign of any ewcm as yet. I took the clomid from cd2 to cd6 and they say about a week after that you should Ov so should be soon.
Im alittle miffed as my back is realy hurting me at the moment dont know if its stress or tension but its the same every month leading up to Ov and this month seems to be worse. perhaps it is the pressure i am under.
How are you Bubble?

Joy27 · 05/03/2009 10:38

Hi all,

Ray, sorry you are feeling so fed up. Your pain could well be tension/stress- it's so bizarre how ttc turns something that should be enjoyable into something which is at times so difficult and clinical.

Fairyanne how are you feeling today?
What about you bubble?
And where on earth is everybody else?!

I'm on CD25 now and quite enjoying not feeling the nervous hope I normally do at this time of the month. Since I'm pretty sure we can't have conceived, I'm not on tenterhooks this month.

Also, I did a little experiment at the beginning of this cycle: I imagined that I was at the end of my cycle, and I managed to spot 4-5 pregnancy symptoms just through the power of my mind. Now, there was no chance whatsoever that I was pg at that time, so it just goes to show that symptom spotting is a waste of time! So have decided, short of actual vomiting, I will henceforth ignore all tummy twinges, nipple fizzles, tiredness, dizzy spells and phantom metallic tastes, until a test tells me I am knocked up.

Anyone care to join me?

ray81 · 05/03/2009 10:59

Joy i'll join you on the no symptom spotting and i ill not believe i am pg until i have 18 days of i high temp or a +ive test. Im fed up with getting my hopes and then them being dashed everymonth. It gets tiring.

bubblebell1 · 05/03/2009 17:02

Hey Ray and Joy

Ray, glad your ok. My ds2 is still sleeping with us and sometimes im awake every 30 mins or so thru the night. i still take my temp. is that worng?? It is always at the same time tho. I got a +ive on my opk on days 14 and 15 and today cd16 its -ive so i guess im in the dreaded 2ww. I didnt think i would ov so soon after the mc but some ppl have said that you can be more fertile in the month after a mc... is this right?

Joy i will def join you with the 'no symptom spotting'

xxx

ray81 · 05/03/2009 17:12

Bubble, my cycles went right back to normal after my Mc too and yes you are meant to be more fertile but it has never worked that way for me.
You are meant to take temp after 3 hrs of consecutive sleep or at least thats what it says in the book i have but if you have had a +ive on the OPKS and your temps now risen i would have thought it is ok. Did you do alot of bding?

bubblebell1 · 05/03/2009 17:23

yeah we did it for the last 3 nights in a row. and i had a dip in temp on day 14 and its risen a little but ff not detected ov yet as not enough high temps. tis all toooo confusing.

ray81 · 05/03/2009 17:48

That is confusing considering you have had +ive on the opks. Perhaps in a few days if you have has enough high temps it will detect it. Just keep Bding until it does!!
