Ovulated two weeks late?

Period was due last weekend but no sign. Tested negative. Had all the signs of ovulation last weekend so can only conclude ovulation was two weeks late, bizarre. Anyone any ideas why?

When I fell pg with dd I didn't get a bfp until my period was about 2 weeks late, then my due date was adjusted back two weeks when I had my dating scan, so I must have ovulated two weeks late in that cycle. I have no explaination as to why it could happen other than biology isn't always an exact science!

All you can do is keep testing every couple of days and see what happens.

Thanks - maybe I'll test again then, have had some other pg symptoms like occasional violent reaction to a smell (fish pie!) but had concluded it couldn't be possible (for other reasons as well that I won't go into here!)
