About to.
Most women's EWCM dries up fairly quickly following ovulation.
"About to" can mean different things though. Some women get a week of EWCM before ovulation, some get much much less.

If you can, get a copy of "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Weschler out of the library. It is full of useful pointers.

can I ask a related question (also asked on another thread, just really want to know!), once you're ovulating, how much time do you have? my dh is away until sunday eve, but think i'm ovulating today

Think it's 36 hours, but let someone else tell you and get that book reccomended above. it's good!

Dancingqueen - once you have ovulated the egg will survive for at most 48 hours and in many cases less.

If you ovulate today unfortunately I think that sex on Sunday evening will be a bit too late, but have sex anyway because you never know - maybe you will ovulate twice or later than you think.

I just realised I got that wrong - it's actually 24 hours at the outside but often less.

48 hours would be some sort of super egg!

Did you have sex in the past few days? If so you will be in with a shot.

unfortunately not since Sunday, dh is working away this week. bad timing! hopefully he will be around at the right time next month
