My DS is 5.5 and I don't want to leave it much longer but can't get hubby to discuss. I have been broody for about 2yrs! The thought of never having another child makes me so sad! Any suggestions?

Have you actually told him this makes you sad? He may not want to discuss it - but you have a right to put that thought out there and let him think on - just don't nag about it - that won't work.

Stop using contraceptives, tell him that you have and that you wold like another child. Sometimes they need to have their minds focused to stop changing the subject.....

I have told him this but he bangs on about money, being too old and we end up arguing. He is 10yrs older than me.

Depends on how serious you are about it. We had almighty rows before trying for dc4 but ultimately I was pig headed enough to say it was non-negotiable and dh conceeded because he likes to keep the --peace- loves me & knew how very much I wanted another.

Only you know your marriage & situation etc how far you're willing/can push it without destroying your relationship.

We have a very expolsive passionate relationship. I think he would "give in" eventually but I would'nt want him resenting me or the new baby.

Also, don't want DS to be an only.

So if you had another child you would be poorer and knackered - but if you don't have one you will be broken hearted and unfulfilled? Sounds pretty grim when you put it that way - and that is the only way you will get anywhere - he has to see how much this hurts you and then I think he will want to put his concerns aside.
