What does MMC mean?

I've looked it up in the acronym list - missed miscarriage - but I still don't understand what that means

A missed miscarriage is when the baby has died but the mother has not yet bled to loose the baby. Is it usually discovered at a scan.
Hope you aren't going through one?? If you are you will get a lot of support on here.

No, nothing like that here (thank god - how awful). Have just decided to try for #2 and thought I'd peruse the conception threads and catch up with the acronyms. Thanks for the info, fingers crossed for a nice straightforward conception/pregnancy like last time
