Ovulating today 3 weeks after first miscarriage.. Anyone in same boat?

Hi there.. I had my first miscarriage (at 11+5 weeks) on the 10th December (our first pregnancy) I got my first negative pregnancy test on the 21st December and stopped bleeding on the 23rd December.. I have been using Clearblue ovulation kits since I stopped bleeding as we wanted to fall again asap.. I had a LH surge yesterday and today and have been busy BD!

Has anyone out there tried again so soon after miscarriage? I am now on the the 2 week wait.. and want to hear any similar stories! Anyone in the same boat?!

That sounds promising for you I was hoping to do the same, and did start TTC 3 weeks after MC but my cycle took longer to come back - in fact, I've been quite worried as I'm now 39 and was terrified of being pushed into early menopause (runs in the family)

I had a miscarriage at 11+5 aswell - on Nov 11th. Very sudden, no warning, terrifying and messy. This was my first pregnancy

I thought I ov'ed about 3 weeks later as I got loads and loads of EWCM and did TTC but no joy and I've since read that having EWCM at that time post MC is no ovulation. I'm afraid I've also read that ov sticks often give erroneous readings in the cycle after mc

Around 30 days after that, I bled really really lightly for around 8 days after a week of EWCM, so I've assumed that was an anovulatory cycle as I had no bloating, sore boobs or PMS

My best guess is that I'm on CD19 right now, and I have EWCM so am hoping I will ovulate this time (I normally OV on CD16). My hormones are kicking off again I think, which is hopefully a good thing but means I'm a sobbing mess over nothing for a good part of each day

Am hoping to seduce DP tonight, hoping to get the ov pains I used to have and hoping to be on a 2WW by the end of the weekend - fingers crossed for both of us

I had really bad ovulation pain yesterday afternoon and it was so bad just before I got into bed, to the point where I couldn't stand up straight and needed a hot water bottle! This ties in with the results I have had on the OPK's I have done, so I am feeling positive..

I have just had a look on google and on quite a few sites that ovulation can be quite painful after a miscarriage, so that may explain it

DH and I BD on New Year's Day morning, yesterday afternoon and this morning - do you think that's enough??!!!

In myself, I have been fine. I haven't stopped taking my folic acid, multi vits and especially the omega 3 - it's great for regulating hormones apparently as mine contain evening primrose oil too.
