Vasectomy Reversal - Success Stories

Hi,

I'm just new to this and had a look for posts on Vasectomy Reversal but there doesn't seem to be any recent ones.

I met my BF a year ago and things have moved very fast. I'm 34, he's 42 and has two children from a previous marriage. We started talking about having children pretty quickly as he had a vasectomy about 9 years ago.

He had a reversal less than two weeks ago and we are already trying. We were told we probably wouln't have sex for 4 - 6 weeks but he's fine so why wait :-)

Anyone out there in a similar situation or have any experience of vasectomy reversal?

Hi there - my hd had a successful reversal after about 5 years. I can't remember how long we waited before we had sex but I think you need to wait to allow everything to heal inside. My DH said it felt a bit tender when we did it the first time so maybe we started too early. I would go by the advise you've been given, you don't want to go and rupture something!! Good luck anyway, we've got one boy and are soon trying for baby no.2.
