Anyone on Clomid and can give me so advice or positive stories please?

I'm on cd10 after taking Clomid 100mg days 2-6. Apart from hot flushes and slightly achy boobs i'm feeling ok. Anyone know when i'm supposed to ovulate? Best time to have sex? I don't want to get my hopes up but i can't help it! Any positive stories? I have very irregular cycles so have no idea when i'm due on. Any advice?

No positive story from me as it hasnt worked for me but there are loads who its worked for. So dont worry am sure you will be lucky.

You can ovulate up to 10 days after your last pill. Are you having any blood tests or scans to help you pin point dates.

I think that there was a long thread recently - may have exceeded 1000 postings. Somewhere on that I posted that DS2 was born after one cycle of Clomid and is currently revising for his A2s! Clomid has been around a very long time and there are lots of positive stories around. Good luck.

Thanks. I'm not having scans - the doctor hasn't mentioned them to me, but i was supposed to have a blood test on day 3 but couldn't make it so they are going to do them next month. Dp and i have to self inseminate as he is unable to do it inside me (hes never been able to with anyone - his doc says he needs to retrain himself as atm he only gets there when the base is squeezed hard which doesn't happen during sex) so we've been doing that every day. His sperm test came back ok, so hopefully this way works!

wishing you lots and lots of luck - a positive story - I had clomid after 18 months TTC and got pregnant the first cycle. My gorgeous DS is very nearly 1 and we are getting ready to start TTC again.
