I love my boys...... all of them but would love a girl. Is there a right time to bd or is it a load of baloney?

ive got 2 boys and love them dearly but i owuld love a girl too. ive read loads on gender selection and from what i can gather you have sex up to the day before ovulation for a girl and avoid orgasm. its yet to work for me tho

Expecting a girl this time (after 2 boys). Dh went away 2 days before I ovulated. Would never have abstained if he'd been around (ds2 took 17 months to conceive).

Are you sure you want girls? Speaking as the mother of two female monsters and one darling little nephew boys are much easier.

You'll need to BD up untill a couple of days before ovulation.
The reason for this is the male sperm swim faster but die quicker. The female sperm swim slower but live longer.
If you BD before ovulation there's a better chance only female sperm will be left to fertalise the egg.

DD was conceived on 12th day of a 30 day cycle. I would say stop BD 2 days before ovulation.

I've heared that eating more dairy products helps, and not eating serial for breakfast. I don't know how much truth is in it, but worth a try? also get your husband to wear pants not boxers.
