Hi,
I had a miscarriage on 17 Nov, at 10wks. I had an ERPC and then had my first period on 13 Dec. Prior to my first pregnancy I never paid much attention to cycle lengths etc as I got pg in the first month of ttc.
However, as I am keen to conceive again I have looked back over my previous cycles prior to getting pg and see that they were 29,31,30,34 and 31 days long.
Can anyone give me advice on when i should be ovulating this time?
In relation to CM, i have been checking this since my last AF and have noticed that there is barely anything there, sorry if tmi but its only the tiniest bit on my finger if i check. is this normal??
Oh and one final question, OH and I have BD near enough every day since AF, is this ok? it wont hinder our chances of conceiving? its just that becoz I dont know when il ovulate I dont want to miss a chance!!
Sori for all the questions and seeming a bit dumb about it all!!

Hi

I think the best "tools" to predict or track ovulation are CM, Ovulation Sticks and taking your temperature.

Ov sticks you can get from Boots (or cheaper on the net) I don't use them myself but I'm sure there are some experts on here that can tell you when and how to use them.

For temping, and general info on cycles and fertility / ovulation signs, try looking round this site - I use it to chart my cycle and it is excellent.

In terms of ovulation, the normal luteal phase (from ovulation to period) is expected to be 14 days, but can be as short as ten days for some people. The follicular phase (leading up to ovulation) can vary in length from month to month. In the average person with an average cycle it is 14 days.

I miscarried at 11+5 just before you on Nov 11th. I haven't ovulated yet, but have had an 8 day light breakthrough bleed. Be warned that your cycles could be back to normal but they could be all over the place - I've had three separate episodes of fertile CM as my body attempts to ovulate (I think) and fails. Now, I should be on CD13 and expecting to ovulate between CD14 and 16 but have no EWCM

I guess what I'm trying to say is that this isn't an exact science. Good luck and I hope this info helps a little
