Could this be implantation bleed?

I've had three periods every 36 days having had none for 14 months since having dd (I'm still bfing.) If I was sticking to this pattern I would have been due on Sunday week i.e. a week from now. My old cycles were about 29 days, which, if i was back to them, would make me due today (Sunday.)

Last Monday I had a streak of blood in cm that i thought could be an implantation bleed (I had a small one last time I was pg a few days before af was due. The next day it became heavier, like the start of a period, but quite watery. I thought it was AF. But then, by Wednesday, it had stopped (I'm usually 5 days plus and have been six days since they came back.)

I know I just have to test but I can't help myself googling etc so thought I'd ask the question directly. Does this sound like implantation bleed or something else?

Only other thing is I had a bad cold with fever just before the bleed - could it have been triggered by being ill?

didn't want you to go unanswered. My implantation bleeding was (sorry for tmi) dark and sludgy - but I did have some pink blood as well. Mine lasted for around 5 days and I kept expecting af to arrive - it didn't and here I am waddling like a duck at 28weeks pregnant!

I know lots of people who have bled early on and their stories are all different.

so............

..........step away from google (it will only scare you) and do a test!

i know your right. can't test till tues as dp away and have promised...

weird how different implantation bleeds are for different people. last time i was literally a tea spoon a day for two days...

I didn't even tell my dh I was testing as I honestly didn't think I would be pregnant. I just wandered into the bedroom early one morning waving my clear blue stick looking a bit dazed - dh was hungover and just couldn't believe it!!!!

You must have immense willpower not to test!

Hope it goes the way you want it to.

I quite like the period of not knowing, though i'm kind of spoiling that by asking on here!

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Sounds like it could be implantation

I only had one streak of red / pink on wiping, but from what I've googled in the past, it is usually bright red or pink, watery and lasts for 1 - 3 days.

However, I got exactly that for 8 days recently - very light all the time. I have assumed it is decidual bleeding from an anovulatory cycle as it went on that long and despite feeling nauseous in the mornings and having gone completely off alcohol, I'm getting BFN's

Implantation bleeding can last a lot longer than 1-3 days. I was told by EPU that the bleeding I had up to week 10 was implantation bleed - they said it can go on for weeks. MIne was mucusy, watery, pink, brown it varied really!

You won't know until you test will you?

Good to see you around Jools!
