Hello everyone,

If you're checking MN over xmas perhaps you could answer this for me...

What do early pregnancy boobs look like? My nipples not bumpy or browner as per all the internet searches I do say, but have a dark ring around outside of nipple that I am sure wasn't there before. Am only 4dpo though.

xx

There's a special name for the bumpy round the nipple area but I can't remember it. I think everyone is different though - some people get painful breasts and nipples. At 4dpo you probably wouldn't get any pregnancy related symptoms as it takes a while for the pregnancy to implant. Good luck!

blue veins, bigger nips

At 4dpo, I think you are really clutching at straws here, sorry, but good luck anyway

Areola?
My nipples don't get darker, they get pinker! cos they are brownish to begin with perhaps.
Do they feel different? My breasts changed very obviously with all 3 previous pgs, but with Dd they didn't. Convinced that all previous were boys.
Do you want to be pg?

hello - yes want to be pregnant - am on ttc thread here too. But had delayed ovulation this month (had cold and temp only rose on day 25 after cold over) but too early to test for xmas as would have been case if ovulated normal time so making do with saddo symptom spotting instead. Breasts are tender by they usually are before period (though not usually this early) - nipples have ring round them and think maybe bigger, but whenever I look at them they get6 cold so then get hard so impossible to tell really.

sigh. oh well. have a nice holiday.

The thing I was thinking of are/is Montgomery tubercles...here

TisTheSeasonToBeSolo · 24/12/2008 19:14

Aha! I had no idea that they had their own name ~ I just thought they were part of the Areola themselves! Live and learn eh?!
