Cough mixture and ewcm...

I know robitussin containing guaifenesin is often used to increase the amount of ewcm, but is benylin chesty cough syrup ok too? It has guaifenesin plus something called levomenthol. I've actually got a cough, but I'm due to ov too, so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone

I was taking Covonia for my cough this month and noticed an increase on normal levels. Not sure what the actives are, or if there's any actual link though!

Course, I was too ill to actually do much of the old bonking so wasted effort really

From reading around a bit I know guaifenesin is known to increase cervical fluid, it helps thin the mucus on the lungs but it has the effect of thining the mucus elsewhere in the body, including the cervix. I'm just not sure what the levomenthol might do. I know it's a decongestant, I'm hoping it might not dry me up too much. I can't put all that grapefruit juice to waste!

headfairy - hello! i think the decongestant might cancel out the good effects of the guan....whatsit, as its there to 'dry you up'

incidentally, I used robitussin recently, and despite feeling crap for most of my last cycle, i do wonder if that's what did the job...

Thanks for that olivo.... I did wonder about the other stuff. I thought that as it was menthol based, it might not be as drying as something a bit stronger. I know expectorants can dry up your mucus membranes.

Oh well, I didn't fancy my chances this month anyway what with feeling so rotten. DH was complaining his nuts were roasting yesterday (festive eh?) as he had a temperature so that probably killed off all his swimmers anyway.
