Where is my AF? Anyone seen her?

I wonder if anyone else has ever been in this situation... I need some words of reassurance or something, anything.

My cycles are usually 28 days exactly and my AF usually arrives every fourth Thursday at about 4pm. However I am now 8 days late. I've never in the last 25 years since I started bleeding been more than 3 days late except when I've been pregnant. We are TTCing for number three but I've done a pg test every two days and always -ve. I've had cramps on and off for about 10 days now. Where is my AF??? I don't feel pregnant and the -ve results suggest I can't be anyway. What is going on? Someone please reassure me that this is perfectly normal and my AF will arrive soon or perhaps I am pg and for some reason I have no symptoms and negative results (yeah right!).

Do you think maybe that you didn't ovulate this month Becky? Was it this month that you got no + on the OPK's? If you didn't ovulate (which is perfectly normal if it only happens now and again) your body may just be adjusting itself and working up to AF. Did you get any ovulation signs?

I haven't had a positive on the old ov sticks since before my MC in May, at least I don't think so. At least I haven't for a few months. I haven't been using them properly though really, testing every day, etc. I don't remember if I got signs this month, I usually get a cramp and fairy snot and take those as signs. Gosh I sound like totally dizzy!

im 5 days late but ive had cramping like my AF might come. taken a 1st response test today and its -ve. I dont 'feel' pregnant. Could i be overreactiing?

Becky, if your late too maybe its normal to be really late every now and again?

(Never been pregnant before so not sure how it feels)

Hi biscuitnoodles my AF eventually arrived 11 days late which never, ever happens to me. I just 'knew' I wasn't pregnant though and wasn't surprised at all when AF arrived. I was just so disturbed by being so late! I'd done three tests all negative. I've been pregnant four times before and I did feel those times that something was no quite the same, probably by day 2 overdue: very sore boobs and just strange feeling all over. But everyone is different! Who knows! You might be more lucky than me this time
