I have had the copper coil fitted, the T shaped one. It has caused me to bleed that badly i carnt walk around while on periods and my PMT has got really bad! i have had it in since march and my periods have now started lasting 3 weeks out of the month does anyone else have this problem? i want it out but doctors keep trying to convince me to keep it in now my periods are lasting this long i think i am deff gonna get it removed?

That sounds awful, I would have it removed. I have the copper coil, and it seemed ok, but the last few periods have been really heavy and lasted ages. I am thinking I might change to the mirena coil, it has a hormone that acts locally and usually causes you to have much lighter periods .
