Name-changing regular, husband not yet notified...

After a large number of years trying, I appear to be up the duff. This is going to take some getting used to.

Am just a bit wary of jinxing- don't want anybody knowing who I am yet, and the number might identify me!

Can I have all the gory bding details over on the other thread (you know which one I mean)

effingnora · 17/12/2008 14:17

D'you think it'd be ok if I just buried my head in the sand and pretended nothing was happening for the next 8 weeks? By my reckoning I am about 6.5 weeks now.

OP posts:
NotanOtter · 17/12/2008 22:13

effing! Have you told dh yet??? can you reveal!

effingnora · 18/12/2008 09:57

lalalala, can't hear you!

Have been analysing overnight why I haven't yet told him, and think I am probably trying to protect him. He suffered quite badly about the one we lost, you see.

OP posts:
NotanOtter · 18/12/2008 11:15

how sad - but happy now

(i take baby aspirin early pg to prevent miscarriage!)

hope you are feeling chilled!

peacelily · 18/12/2008 11:25

Fabulous! Congratulations

effingnora · 19/12/2008 16:37

Not feeling at all chilled, alas. Feeling rather sick though. Also I am spending about 95% of my waking hours double-guessing symptoms and drawing up worst case scenarios, the worst of which is the pregnancy stays, and I discover at 20 weeks that there is something seriously wrong with it. Why oh why oh why did I decide to do this again?? I must be mad

OP posts:
duchesse · 27/12/2008 05:45

I have now told 'im indoors, so can reveal who I am. Still worried though.
