chances of conception, using condoms correctly

Hi has anyone become pregnant while correctly using condoms. We've had no mishaps, but my period hasn't come.

Well nothing is 100% reliable. How late are you?

2 days late now- don't know whether to tell dh. Just wondered if it was possible to conceive without condom breaking/ slipping off.

Was it an old condom? Perhaps there was a small hole where it had perished a little?

No, they were recently purchased.

perhaps there was a hole but you just didn't notice? Even when correctly used I think they are only about 98% safe.

two days late is nothing though. Have you tested?

If it is any help a couple of months ago I was 14 days late for no reason at all, sometimes our bodies just like to confuse us. But obviously there is one way to find out, might be an idea to get a test

I haven't tested, but I'm very regular. Maybe I'll buy a test later.

I would have thought the chances were pretty slim.

Were you ill or stressed at all a couple of weeks ago? That could have delayed ovulation (and therefore your period).

I had a 24hr bug 2 weeks ago, so might well be that, Mrs Happy.

I used condoms for years with no problems - I'd be very surprised if you were pg.
