Mirena coil..... had mine taken out six weeks ago. How long till you conceived?

As I said had mine removed the beginning of November. Had a three day bleed then nothing. Had a pregnancy test that came up positive after three hours but negative ones since. Am I even ovulating? How long did it take people to conceive after?

Hi, I had a mirena out in november and concieved in the january, either I wasn't timing BDing very well or it just took that long for my body to get back to normal. Actually reading this back...didn't take long at all! Good luck

You cant read a pg test after 3 hours as you read it within 10 mins to see if it comes up positive or neg. i had mine out in Oct, had sex once and then dp did his back in whilst playing golf, so we didnt do it in nov but in dec was back to action..had sex 3 times on my peak days and now ive got a 11 weeks old dd2

as soon you have the coil taken out, you start ovulating within days

I did read it. It changed. Not sure what my peak days are so am bding daily. Lucky me!

i used this to help you to give more of an idea when youre most fertile

if you would be pg then the lines would come up within the 10 mins...i think its summat youve got 30 mins to discard it.

I had mine removed halfway through Aug 06, conceived halfway through October.

I had mine taken out the start of november 04 and concieved in the february so only a couple of months. After my daughter was born in Nov 05 I had to wait ages to be able to get an appointment to have another one fitted. 5 months later eventually got a date. Went to have it fitted but it was too late, My periods had been on and off since having my daughter and i didn't know I was already 6 weeks pregnant. Thought I had been really careful too!!!
