Question about EWCM - advice please!!

I got this yesterday and the day before but I only saw it once each day. Could I be ovulating, or do you need to be getting it throughout the day to be ovulating?

This varies a lot from one woman to the next.
I get EWCM for about a week before ovulation, and each day there is a little more until one day it is very obvious.

Depending on your own pattern you could be about to ovulate. You might want to back it up by taking an OPK? Also, if you keep track of your EWCM and notice that you don't have much, do make sure that you are drinking plenty of water as this can help the body make more.

I ovulated about 4 days after getting this. I would get OPK's so that you have more of an idea.

That's new to me; I thought EWCM was the definitive sign that OV was here RIGHT NOW!

Gateau - EWCM definitely precedes ovulation - as soon as you have ovulated you start producing progesterone and the first thing that does is dry up your EWCM. Seeing it only once a day is normal for some women. TMI warning - look out for it after you've opened your bowels - that's when it's usually most obvious. What Mrs Happy said about drinking lots of water v true - 2 litres a day if you're TTC!

Also forgot to say - unless DP has sperm count issues you should have sex on every day that you see EWCM when you are TTC
