Wasabi - keep positive I had implantation bleeding (bright red) at 8DPO and more brown watery blood on the day I got a BFP - was convinced AF was coming and nearly didn't bother testing !!

In fact, wasn't the September pee-on-a-stick-fest a particularly lucky one

Aw you're all so lovely. I'm trying to find the line between getting my hopes up and being too pessimistic.

Well I'm still on my 'forgetting about ttcing' wk, my last night tonight, had a girls xmas night out on Mon, my works one last night & have my dh's tonight. Have drunk quite alot over the last wk but not tooooo much that I'v pickled the egg. FF says that I should be starting my fertile stage from today then OV Tues/Wed so the BD fest will start tonight drink aided, thats how I was concieved so willing to give it a go this month as something different, you never know most September born babies are results of Xmas/New Year parties

Only 9 more days till I go skiing, can't wait & it'll take my mind of the 2WW which can't be a bad thing

Wasabi I know you're trying to stop getting your hopes up but its impossible for the rest of us not to for you - it does sound really promising. When can you test?

I go Sunday 21st & back Boxing day eve, so only 5 days of skiing, but it means I can check in on MN that evening & see all the bfp from the Xmas Eve testing posie
then hold hands with the New Year lot (me included) for our mass testing day

I think my mini OV pains I've had a couple of times have ramped up into a mega OV ! Unmistakable familiar pain, bloating

Good thing is we managed a BD 3 hours before the pains started, so fingers crossed !! I will be 13DPO on Christmas Day, so it may be to early to get a result Christmas Eve but will join in anyway

In the meantime, I'm gonna curl up on the sofa with a hot water bottle and ENJOY having OV pains !!!!!!!!!

So Wasabi - are you ten DPO today ?? Will you hold out till 14 DPO ? We will all virtually hold your hand whilst you pee on that stick

Finally got a last night and had sex this morning (DH was bit tipsy last night!!), will do later and try to do so on Monday and Tuesday too Then will put my feet up and chill!!

jools that sounds extremely positive too! This is your 1st cycle post-mc isn't it? I have ecerything crossed for you. I didnt manage to take advantage of my post-mc fertility as I had a bad endo flare up and ended up on the pill- not a good thing for fertility! so make the most of it.

Realised this morning that test day for me will be Christmas eve- due date of mc so am praying that its a BFP.

mummy2olivia - I SO hope you get your BFP Christmas Eve then - wouldn't that be such a special co-incidence.

Strange things have been happening to me since I last posted - PG symptoms in abundance all apart from the boobs, which are neither swollen nor sore. I've seen pink blood mixed in EWCM when wiping this morning, had diarrhea, been very windy , had mild symptoms of thrush and other faint symptoms that I'm not even going to mention yet !

confused - very confused ! Even if I got OV day wrong, then the only way I could be PG is if this bleed is an implantation bleed from a BD on Wed evening -too early surely ?

Oh well, AF will probably arrive but this is WIERD !! I paid up front for my gym membership this week - buy 12 months and get 3 free - so it now expires in Dec 2010 - I thought then sods law I get PG and don't use it !!

Jools that sounds very promising, you might have short tubes or the egg got caught closer to the womb than the ovary so didn't have far to go to implant...my fingers are crossed for you, what date do you test???

No ewcm yet and temps still low but so far have managed to bd on days 11/12/13/15/17/18/19 so feeling rather pleased with myself. Need to keep up at least every 2 days now until temp rises though, but have stinking cold.

Smiley - am really really unsure when to test - I'd noted on Fertility Friend each time I had what could have been OV pains and the one before yesterday was Thurs I think, so I could assume the 2WW started on Thurs ? Not sure really - first cycle post MC so anything goes I think !

Will just keep an eye out for other symptoms and try very hard not to obsess !!

Sorry deserted you all for a while just read posts trying to catch up with all the news.

To be honest felt that I needed to step back from TTC for a short while as I had got really low and much much more upset than usual when I got my last Af. Had a good talk with DH and we are off the Deanna Plan this month, just taking a more relaxed approach, thought it was best as next AF is due Christmas Eve I didn't want to feel that low again and ruin everyones Christmas. Feel much more relaxed now and looking forward to Christmas with DS. Will keep lurking though and checking in on all you lovely ladies Baby dust to all .................

yellowflowers- your BDing looks like mine- I'm knackered!! I've done day 11/12/14/15/16 and am planning on carrying on til Tuesday. We decided to give it a really good effort cos DH is in chicago for magic week next month so will have to skip a month. We find that BD everyday worked for us last time- Zita west seems to think that men with high sperm counts should have sex everyday as it helps reduce deformed sperm- they literally get too cramped up and start to deform When we had DH's SA done last year his count was on the high side (117 million per ml) so fingers crossed that her theory works!!

Have been thinking about testing at Christmas today and its really bothering me. Its a date that I am truly dreading and if I get a BFN it will just be another blow. boo!

Mummy2olivia and yellowflowers : am very impressed by your BDing. Will try to follow the good example, but it is a tough act to follow.

Oh ladies, 10 DPO today and I've been so sure all day that I'm not pg. Have had funny tingly cramping of the sort that usually preceeds AF, except that AF is not due for at least four or five days - then started to worry that she's coming early, argh! And now the tingling seems to be less so I wonder if it wasn't all in my mind. Please tell me how on earth to stop obsessing and Get a Life...

mustadmit the bding has left me knackered - maybe to be blamed for cold? have asked dp that we do tues too but so many xmas parties this week can't even see we'll be home and awake at same time let alone up for anything else.

Looks like there some serious Bding going on this week. Very impressed Yellow we have managed CD8,10,11 x 2 & I'm now on CD12. DH has finished work for his Xmas leave so he wants to get in bding twice a day for the next couple of days if we can manage it, but I'm really worried that I may have OV early, my temp was quite high this morning & I missed taking it yesterday morn as we had a lay in & took it late the morning before, so at the moment on my chart it looks like it been raised for 3 days & I had pains on Sat eve??? My opk said -ive yesterday & I'm doing the next one later on today. I hope I'm worring about nothing & I will get a +ive today or tomorrow, but I just have a horrible feeling that I may have OV'd really early this month & have missed the boat I will keep you posted

hi smiley - sounds like you may have caught it even if ov early.

My temps still not showing ovulation though last night a bit of blood in cm - ovulation? Not happened before though. Not really trusting temps right now as could be because of cold or sleeping with mouth open etc

Smiley - if you ov'ed on Sat 13th, it sounds to me like you may have timed it all perfectly

YellowFlowers - have never experienced it myself but have read that you can have a very small bleed with ovulation.

As for me - I'm just plain confused at the mo !

Really strong OV pains on Sat morning and bloating. Sun morning - lots of pinky red mixed in with EWCM when wiping in the morning, then a teeny amount of brown in the evening. Nothing overnight, then more red watery stuff half an hour after I got up. Checked after the walk to work - still coming. Checked just now - gone.

My sensible head is telling me that this must be a slow starting AF - OV pains have not been followed by achey boobs, so OV probably failed and I'm looking at an anovulatory post MC cycle. I was in a fantastic mood all weekend - no pre af irritability at all.

My hopeful head is telling me that maybe the BD on Wed night caught the egg on its way down and this is a biggish implantation bleed. I was actually tearful this morning watching news items on sportsperson of the year etc. I don't get that sort of tearful when AF is coming - it is more like PG hormonal tears. I've got mild thrush, was really really gassy yesterday - quite when shopping !, had diarrhea, aching lower back and keep thinking I have increased saliva. Had a metallic taste in my mouth on Sunday aswell - BEFORE I'd seen the blood, so thought I was on 1DPO and hadn't started symptom spotting !

Aaaaarrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh. If you've got to the end of this - well done, have a gold star !! I know all I can do is wait, and I'll probably be posting here tomorrow confirming that this is indeed my first AF post mc .....

Ellie - sorry to hear you've been feeling so low, but great to hear you're feeling a bit better / more relaxed this month.

Yellowflowers - excellent work on the BDing this month...

Me and DH have been doing okay but not brilliant: so far we've managed CD 9, 12, 15, 16 (today). I haven't been using OPKs as they and my pre-seed haven't arrived yet from amazon (how annoying is that!) but sure I haven't ovulated yet. No EWCM so far but judging from recent cycles, expect to see it later today or tomorrow and then for it to last a few days after that. So plan to grab DH as much as possible over the next few days.

By the way, any news Wasabi? I think it's looking very promising.

Am a little worried that cos I bought them on Amazon - they are not going to work tho

Hi iggypiggy give the tests a chance there are lots of people who use the ones of internet and get good results. so dont worry.

Started mine yesterday cd11 as its usually cd14 for me so no point in wasting them. .

have started the bd marathon have managed cd3,8,9,10,11.

am hoping to get to saturday before dh gets too exhausted

had some ovary pain yesterday and today so who knows whats going on.

It does sound like we are all going for it this month, there must be something in the air.
