Hi everyone I have started a new thread... hope you like the new home, this is where it will all happen. (Cindy opens a bottle of champagne) Here's a drink to all and to our month ofthe BFP... .... baby dust all around ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

What is the deal with grapefruit juice? This has probably been asked before -sorry of it has. Secondly, does pink grapefruit juice work too?

I'm out of the Christmas test, AF arrived this morning . Arse and cheers (pours v. large G&T) !

Gateau - our top commmandment is 'thou shalt quaff grapefruit juice'. Our faith hinges on the quasi-religious tennet that grapefruit juice = plentiful ewcm and "lo, the BFPs came forth from the winderness" (book of funtime rambling, chapter many, verse lots).

Pink grapefruit juice? Are you part of a breakaway sect? .

Gateau - I should think pink would work fine too - gfj is gfj - so long as it is fresh and not from concentrate apparently

Sorry I've not posted for a while - been a manic weekend. First up CONGRATULATIONS!! Villagemum - fandabeedozee

Thank you for all your encouraging words about handing in my notice. It actually went really well - they have already said they want to use me as a freelance and will work out an arrangement in January whhich will be brilliant. So, I finished work on Thursday feeling high as a kite and just sooo relieved.

Spent Friday Christmas shopping but had little prickles of nausea from time to time which I dismissed because I was convinced I was kidding myself again. I still hadn't got AF though and finally plucked up the courage to test on Saturday morning..........................................................and it was a BFP!!

And so was the one I did a couple of hours later and the fancy pants digital one that dh bought in town on Saturday afternoon just to be on the safe side.

Yes, despite hardly shagging at all (CD12, 15 and 20) and me being ill we have somehow managed to concieve a mini wasabipeanut.

That makes me feel better re: shagging - cos we didn't manage enough this month am sure of it - but now have small amount of hope!

I am feeling really under the weather but have no EWCM (or what ever its called) so I know I am not pg.... yes, I am sympton spotting.... have until next week to go before I can test. Its been an eventful week... good luck to all those that will be testing soon!!

Hi everyone - can I join in? I'm a recent convert to grapefruit drinking, temping and OPK'ing if that will help! (Only since discovering mumsnet mind you, altho DH actually drinks grapefruit juice by choice - bleurgh! )

I'm TTC #1, and had a mmc in September . AF got me today, so not much I can do for a few days now (apart from eat, drink and try to be merry of course).

Thank you for your lovely messages everyone - you are all scrumptious and I have found this thread to be amazing over the last few months so regardless of how things progress I will definitely stick around!

I am 20 days po now (if I got the day right) and will, based on last AF be 5 weeks tomorrow. Am planning on getting an early scan at 8 weeks to set my mind at rest but until then it will be all the usual "will it stick?" worries!

We are off to the in laws today unti after Xmas so I won't be able to check in for a few days so just wanted to say a huge GOOD LUCK to all those testing over the next few days. More Christmas BFP's would be just lovely!

So.......have a fab Christmas everyone. I wish you all good tidings and much baby dust!

Whatsfortea Welcome! sorry to hear about the MC in September. YOur on a good thread to get all the support you need. You have timed it well you can eat, drink and be merry to your hearts content. I MC in Sept also, and will be on my third cycle and ttc #2. I am 39 years old so time it ticking but hey, when it happens it will happen.

It looks like i'm going to OV on Christmas day according to my fertility monitor so hopefully I'll get my very own Christmas BFP although I'll have to wait until next year to find out for sure!

Hello ladies!

I took a test this morning - I'm only 10 DPO and know that is waaaaay to early to test but I was supposed to be having a reflexology appointment tonight and I just had to test to make sure I wasn't pregnant - as I've heard its not good to have reflexology early on in pregnancy. So, I got up at 5.30am needing a pee and thought - might as well do it now. However, just put my side light on to read test so that I wouldn't disturb DH. Couldn't see a line and so went back to sleep. However, after about 45 mins of 'doozing' my alarm went off and I had to get up and when I looked at the test under proper light I could see a very faint line. Now, I haven't allowed myself to get excited. I know that you are not supposed to count results after the 10mins developing time. But I did get an tiny bubble of excitment. Now my reflexologist has phoned up really sick and has had to cancel my appointment anyway! Fate?!

I'm now not sure if I should test tomorrow with everyone or whether I should wait till Christmas Day (my due date) when I will be 12 DPO.

What do you ladies think?
