Can someone please tell me what happens when you go to the fertility clinic x

I made my appointment yesterday for the 8th Jan was just wandering what to expect and what happens from now on im a bit worried cheers x

depends on what you've already tried and what tests you've had.

A full history will be taken, tests booked in or results reviewed and a plan is agreed for treatment. Sometimes a physical exam is required but not always.

Do you know if you are seeing a consultant? If so, they will take your history, go through your notes (if they have them) suggest tests (and maybe do some blood tests there and then, and maybe some screening for Hepatitis etc) and discuss your options

Have you been referred through the NHS or privately?

my own GP referred me I've had loads of tests done bloods,swobs, at my doctors for all you have said already x

If the blood tests don't show anything and your partner has had a sperm analysis they may well schedule an HSG to rule out mechanical problems.

After all that lot they recommend a course of action based on all of the results together.
