2WW and smear tests?

I have a smear test due tomorrow but on the 2 week wait. Should I cancel? Don't want to ask at the surgery as I know the staff and am trying to keep my ttc a secret!

My practice nurse said although it shouldn't cause a problem if you are pg they err on the side of caution

I thought that they suggest you have a smear if you are not up to date early in pregnancy? That's what it says here anyway www.cancerhelp.org.uk/help/default.asp?page=2768
