Am obviously getting coil removed v. soon.

Do you think I should get my iron tested, or take iron supplements, before TTC? Or wait a few weeks after coil removal to let body get back to normal?

BTW am still breastfeeding DC1. I know from the breastfeeding pages that there are women who bf during pregnancy and even tandem feed, so am not planning to stop bf just yet. DD is 16 months, she only feeds a couple of times a day, my periods are back and quite regular. Do you think it's worth just TTC straight away?

Would love any advice. Thanks

BTW it's the copper coil not Mirena (not sure what difference it makes)

Why don't you try taking an iron tonic like Floradix? It might perk you up a bit. And I would start ttc whenever you feel like it. If your body needs more iron to conceive it will just take a bit longer, that's all.
