I had an appointment with a Urologist today as a result of a scan I had a few months ago. All fine there I think, but while I was there we talked about TTC (I had to tell her as she hsa suggested X-rays) and she told me 'Speaking from a Urologist's point of view if you are TTC you should have sex every couple of days rather than every day during your fertile period'

She said that if we have sex every day then my OH will be shooting out lethargic sperm. I know some people think this but I thought having sex as much as possible was worth doing?

Is this a generally accepted view?

What I have read in Prof Robert Winston's book called Infertility is that a couple should have sex two or three times a week throughout their cycle.

Thanks AttilaTheMeerKat.

Maybe I will try that next month then.
We tend to have sex every few days and then more often when I get my highs and peaks on the monitor, it's not always every day each cycle, it depends on how tired we are a lot of the time.

Am going for my fertility consultation in January so I will print out all my cycle history from the last year and take them with me.
