My periods have been odd since having DD 14 months ago. REALLY heavy, but also long, with up to 5 days of very light (brown) bleeding, then v heavy bleeding for 3/4 days, then light brown again for up to 4 days or so.

DH and I had an 'accident' on Friday, this was about 4 days after light brown stuff had finished.

Is this very likely to be bang on ovulation time?

Cycles are between 28-30 days

Ahem, yes you might have a problem.

Do you want another child?

HeinzSight · 25/11/2008 21:24

erm likely imo

good luck for whatever you want to happen

I didn;t think I did. Had really REALLY bad PND, especially after last.

I was the one who wanted a 3rd, but took a lot of pursuading for DH to agree.

Since, it's been the opposite. Kind of. Dh has mentioned a couple of times that he could imagine having another.

There'#s a bit gap between our DD and our boys.

DH has lost the use of an arm, so most of the baby care has been down to me, this I really struggled with in the early days.

well, if you have an average luteal phase then you probably ovulate on day 14-16...you had sex on day 14...But they say you only have a 1/4 chance of getting pregnant at each 'go' so who knows.

I have also recently had a drunken incident with dh and am currently in the same boat...what will be, will be.

biskybat · 25/11/2008 21:34

sorry, some how I cross posts with your last two..PND is awful, never mind your dh's situation which must have made it 10xs as hard...

HeinzSight · 25/11/2008 21:35

We'll keep each other posted ok bisky.

My history suggests this could be a 4th!!!!

DS1 pregnant first month
DS2 pregnant first month
DD pregnant 2nd month, but had an 'odd' positive test first month

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

biskybat, you're spot on, Dh's paralysed arm hit REALLY hard after having DD.

I think if it was to happen again, I'd HAVE to get a live Nanny, or Mum's help, whatever for a couple of months.

DH was SO hands on with our boys.

I hope that OMFG is an excited/nervous one!

Yep will keep you posted

My past history:

DD, 14 months...conceived by accident in a non-drunken incident

OOPS

HeinzSight · 25/11/2008 21:41

Friday was a drunken accident!

I had PND and wouldn't have been able to survive without DH, he was such a help with practical stuff. I remember thinking at the time that he made a better 'mum' than me...a live in nanny sounds like a good contingency plan.

HeinzSight · 25/11/2008 21:49

Just wanted to say Congrats .
As for the PND, I have no experience of this, but if youve had it before, will you know the signs to look out for? Does that make it easier?

Sorry, cant really help
