I want another baby!

Have been feeling like this for a few weeks now and i'm so confused i don't know what to do.

DP and I have a 8 month old DD, we have just moved into a beautfil house and we are getting married next year. We always planned that we would try for another baby when DD was 1 but having got engaged we decided to wait until after the wedding. I've now realised i'm not happy with that, i never wanted there to be a big age gap between our children and even if i fall pregnant straight after our wedding three will nearly be a 3 year gap.

Money isn't a problem, we are struggling at present anyway as we have just moved in, as DD is still young have all of her furniture and equipment so it would just really be a case of new clothes.

What do i do? I really do think i want another baby but am so confused with getting married & work (have only just started back part time) my head is in a spin.
I don't know what DP's feelings are, as i haven't told him how i feel but i'm pretty sure he isn't keen on waiting untilafter the wedding. However, neither of us wanted a long engagement.

Anyone got any advice?

when you bleed between periods.
check your pill packet to see if you are still protected when this happens - if not it may be a sign!!!!!

I never have before - i now have the most horrendous stomach ache so think it may be my period come early! Typical.

Just worried me a bit, as i'd never had it before.

I have a dd who is beautiful and I love her to bits and I love being a mummy and I really really really really want another one, I have an pain in my stomach wanting so much. But I only set up my own business this year and I have along way to go and it needs my dedication if I want it to succeed.... but every month I cry ot feel like it when I have a period. My best friend recently told me she is pregnant, I am delighted and upset at the same time! This month I am sure I had an early m/c, my thread on "is this an implanation bleed" on this topic board. I am sure I did and I guess I would have never know.

I just need a baby - am I mad? I have been broody since last summer and I fight it everyday.

We have no money right now but then we never have and we got through it with dd1.

I dont know what to do....

Don't worry I'm another one, my relocation house move up the swanny, got no money but oh I want another baby was practically in tears when I saw a newborn in Next the other day.

Why DD only 9 months she's still a baby I thought these feelings would stop once I had one!!!

SC we have been planning to get married every year for the past 5 but something always gets in the way, we decided having children was more important to us and we would get married one day for us though it's not important. This year I would rather have another baby than a wedding. I kind of like the idea of having your children at your big day as well. I'll have the most georgous flowergirl ever!

I understand exactly how you feel.
I feel the same.
Our son is 1 1/2.
I have wanted another child since Jack was two weeks old.
My husband & I both agreed that we both wanted two children.
But as a diabetic, I had a very difficult pregnancy and nearly died.

My husband says that he is not sure that he could go through it again, he couldn't bear to lose me.
Bless him - he is such a diamond.

The thought of not having a second child kills me.
My desire seems to come in 'waves' - my last 'wave' lasted from beg feb 05- end mar 05 !!!!
Sometimes I can't think about anything else.
Sometimes I am angry about it, sometimes I just can't stop thinking about it.
I often cry about it.

What I wanted to tell you both is that wanting a second child is so normal.

Eventually, I admitted my feelings to my post-natal mums and to all our surprsie - ( I talked to about 15 all in all) we all felt EXACTLY the same way.

My mum suggested that a hormonal desire,for another child, was very strong and that lots of people underestimated it or couldn't understand why they felt the way they felt.

As post natal mums, we spoke to our health visitor, and she agreed with my mum, saying hormones were often VERY STRONG.
She said that it didn't affect all people, but it was the reason behind alot of peoples feelings, and if most people accepted that, that helped them to understand how they were feeling.

Anyway, hope that helps and lets hope we all get the right solution for us.

Im in this situation ,ds was 8 months when we decided to start trying, we also want to get married next year to but i figure if i have a huge bump in my dress i dont mind! a bumo would make me more beautiful!

I have a 3 year 3 month gap (not planned) and may I say its wonderful .. older one helps out a lot and is old enough to really enjoy the baby developing and teaching them

My DP wants another as much as i do, weve been trying for 3 months and im just going through another early misscarriage, it makes me more determined tough, i want a huge family!

Hi girls, my DS is one and I want another, I thought I was by accident this last month, but turned out not to be! Thats started me off wanting another. My hubbie has said xmas so we can sort out the finances as we can't afford me to take maternity other wise.

First time we started trying 2 months before wedding, got preg. month after. Glad I wasn't preg for wedding in end as felt sick all time.

Springchicken, I can't tell you what to do as it is hard!!!!!!!! I think you have to decide what is most important to you.

I am even trying to get rid of extra stuff on ebay and car boots to raise cash to get things sorted quicker.
