Hello! I'm on my first cycle of clomid. Im on day 22. Took clomid days 2 - 6 of my period.

I have PCOS, and ovulate naturally every 5 months!

Well then, my little story is this, on the days i was supposed to ov if my best friend clomid worked, was 5-10 days after the last tablet. how gutted was I when nope, noyhing, no no no, nothing at all happened.

Cue tears, tantrums, more tears, and lots of feeling sorry for myself. so as I had resigned myself to thinking it wasnt going to work, then out of the blue, EWCM decides to come along! so, this is 7 days after day 10 ( 0f days 5-10 days after its supposed to work- am i making sense?) and so my ov test wasthe darkest, best its EVER been!!!!!

clomid my best friend? Wait for it.....today, im sooooooo ill! Vomiting, runny tum, agonsing pain ( im a tough gal, used to intense period pain) so is this normal?

lollipop - I really think you should get this checked out. Have you had any scans done? AFAIK, you shouldn't be taking clomid unmonitored. It could just be that you've picked up a bug, but it might be that you over-responded to the clomid. There are some really lovely clomid threads on here - I'm on the 'just read leaflet and am scared' one and the 'anyone else take clomid and hcg trigger' one - they're both great - come and join us. Good luck!

Hi
I am new to this site, but looks like a good support network. I have taken clomid in the past and fell preggers first time. That was two years ago, here I am again. I am now on day 20 so 8 more days to go till the almighty test. I just do not wnat to get my hopes up this time.
I am feeling wierd pains in my tummy, my husband seems to think this happened last time. Does this sound familiar to anyone else?

lollipop,

get it checked out these are all symptoms of OHSS ( overian Hyperstimulation) which is very very dangerous to you and if it they need to take you in and sort you out.

I realy hope it works out for you but make sure you get checked just to be sure.

Hi Lollypop

As everyone else has said, get this checked. Its not worth leaving it and clomid should be monitored.

I know its tempting to get it over the internet and hope all ok but you just need the back up of the docs.

As am sure all the others feel, pls lets us know how you are feeling and what happened.

Good luck and lots of baby dust

Hi Lollipop.

I had pain when taking clomid and was told to look for certain signs when I visited my GP. All of the symptoms you mentioned were on her list, and would warrant an emergency appointment at the doc. Do not panic, it could be a bug, but you MUST get this checked. I don't mean to scare you, but the symptoms you are describing are typical of OHSS as Ray said.

Please let us know how you get on. Take care of yourself,

Hi eveyone!

Thanks for your very scary comments! Arggghhhh!

However ladies, dont worry, I'm being monitored by my doctor, and these symtpoms are natural he said. So did NHS direct.

when i ovulate naturally i get terrible pains and also sickness, so much infact ive convinced myself twice before i was preg! So stimulation is bound to hurt too, and its common to experience period pain like cramps, and my epriod pains are youch youch ypuch!

Im not going to A&E, i would feel daft!

Im feeling much better now, mild cramps now and sickness has subsided.

Been BDing like mad, so fingers crossed the pain is worth it!

After almost 2 years, my luck must come musnt it?
