Hi.

We're trying for number three at the moment and have bought OV testing kit to help us along the way (Clearblue Digital). So, I started testing on Day 10 as recommended and am now on day 16 and no smiley face. That's ok as my cycles seem to vary from 27 to 33 days (which is why I decided to use OV kit). My Q is should we be having sex everyday, just incase the OV tests don't work. So far have had sex days 7, 11, 14, 15 and 16 and was planning to do it daily till am sure i've ovulated. Will having sex every day mean less sperm when I eventaully ov?

My second question is that my CM doesn't seem to be increasing, could this be because we are having sex every morning - does that make any difference? Or could it be because I'm not near to ovulating yet.

Sorry for long ramble, just wanted to see if anyone had any answers?

If you sometimes have 33 day cycles then you would ovulate say day 19 - 21 assuming that you have a luteal phase of 12 - 14 days. So you could well be having one of your longer cycles and just not ovulated yet.

Sex every day is good if you have the energy! I think as long as your DH/P has a healthy sperm count then it is OK from what I have read.

And yes - sex every day will make it difficult to see changes in your CM - I find it hard to tell the difference.

Good luck!
