hi there,my pregnancy journeys have been abit up and down but heres a quick run down before i get to my point(to give you alittle idea about me!)
May 2005-stillborn-33weeks
Sept 2005-missed miscarriage(meant to be 9 weeks-stopped at 6)
March 2007-my beautiful daughter was born(currently 19 1/2 months)
sept 2008 missed miscarriage(meant to be 16 weeks-stopped at 12)
i've also had ALL blood tests etc to detect possible reasons for my losses and everything has come back 'normal',and with no links to each other.
I have a very good 28 day cycle and the 1st day of my last Af was 17th oct 2008-lasting the usual 5 days(this was my first Af after i had a D&C in sept, and it was as my Af's usually are)I then calculated that i was due my next Af this fri gone(14th)based on my usual 28 day cycle. But no Af has arrived!??....Therefore i did a test and initally there was no blue line, and then after a couple of mins a very faint one!..so i thought i'd leave it till sunday and tested again(still no Af)and again, nothing 'clearly' initally and then a very faint line??
Its now 3 days over when my next Af would have been due and i did ANOTHER test and go the same again, nothing initally then a faint line(granted these lines do seem to be slightly darker as i've gone along-but am wondering why they are not stronger as i'm overdue my Af?)
I must sound crazy!and i know i'm driving my hubby crazy, but considering my past i'm just so nervous about the whole pregnancy thing!I only want to give my little girl a sibling then i'll stop as we've been through soo much! But it just confuses me that the line isn't stronger considering how overdue i am?Has anyone else had this?

I'm sure someone will come along with good advice - someone more qualified than me!

But i have everything crossed for you.

wonderstuff · 17/11/2008 15:36

When you say nothing initially, do you mean nothing as soon as you pee or nothing after the 3mins or whatever is up?

overbuurvrouw · 17/11/2008 15:46

If you have a line in the test window when the time is up you are pregnant. It doesn't matter how strong or faint the line is. Maybe a digital test would put your mind at rest?

It sounds to me like you are pregnant I hope so for you.

With my DD and my miscarriage I had strong lines, but the lines were considerably fainter this time. I am pregnant though.

Keeping everything crossed for you.

When i say nothing initally i mean like straight away(i've done tests with other pregnancies and it came up quite strong really quick)but there is something within the time you should read it.
yeah will def have to get a digital one,and perhaps just try to relax abit!I think its mainly cos of what we've been through before! But i spoke to a female relative today and she put my mind at rest abit and i'm going to test again in a couple of days,so fingers crossed! Thanks for your replies!....keep them coming if you've had something similar!,i'd really appreciate it!.x.x.x

Then I'd say congratulations, and I really hope the pregnancy goes well
