Anyone ever get ewcm just after ovulation. All the signs (temps and opk) indicate that ov has happened but got a big string of gloopy ewcm today. It was slightly cloudy rather than clear so not sure what that means. (sorry if tmi)

Should I bd just to be on the safe side???

Thanks.

No idea sorry, but I would bd anyway.
Have never experienced getting it just after ovulation, but mine does go cloudier.

Good luck!

Yes, you can still have EWCM after ovulation because the corpus luteum produces oestogen in small amounts as well as progesterone.

I sometimes get a little bit the day after ov and a patch of EWCM around 5-7 days after ovulation.

Are you sure it isn't semen, though?

Hmmmm could be semen. Thanks for the advice.

I often get a late splodge come out too (sorry for gross terminology, but that's just what it is ) I always assumed it was because the egg was viable for a few hours after ov (it varies I think between 12 to 24) so my body produces a bit more just in case I'm still interested fertilising in this egg!
