The familar AF signs are beginning as they usually do a week in advance of her arrival..

June before last we decided to TTC. Should I go and see a doc or shall I use OV sticks first?

OP posts:
horseshoe · 18/03/2005 14:52

Never used OV sticks before since high sex drive (TMI i know) and at least every other night

Roobedoo · 18/03/2005 14:57

Thanks for the welcomes, I'm 31, DH is 33. This month will be month 4 of ttc. Wish I had a shorter cycle though - 42 days seems like an eternity!

cp3 · 18/03/2005 15:01

Good luck Hula. Cant wait for you to graduate.

fresco · 18/03/2005 15:24

Dear Horseshoe

I too have a high sex drive but with his job that is physically demanding (plant fitter) dp is often v tired at night.plus his weight, well overweight he has bad leg/knee pb so he cant sometimes do it when i want it. i would do it every nite if i listened to my body.
however, my cycles: 34,33,32,31,30,29,35,29 up to date.but thats becos of b/f.now, did blood tests and my hormons are fine.new doc did say if my cycles still erratic to go and see her.So, if i were you hen, i would go and see your doc!! why put yourself thru stress u dont want and dont need hen??

fresco · 18/03/2005 15:26

what are your af symptoms dear? mine too come a week before.burning sensations on both side of down there and sometimes just above vagina seems like someone is scraping blood with knife.feels disgusting.whats yours horseshoe?

katierocket · 18/03/2005 15:31

hello all

AF here
really fed up, thought it might be my month.
TTC 10 months now, never thought I'd say that.
Going out tonight to drown my sorrows.

horseshoe · 18/03/2005 15:39

OH DEAR KR.....hugs

Fresco..I think I might go to the doctors....I had no problem concieving DD1.

My symptoms are I get the cramping feeling and my breasts are sore to touch (not that i sit there fondling all day ) The only difference this time is that they have been sore for over a week now.

Very similar to Pg symtoms I know but I didn't get any of these when pg with DD1 and so know that it's AF. Plus did the early pg test yesterday...if pg was causing my boobs to be sore i should get a BFP with test i would think...

Aw, katie! I hoped I'd kept her away from you; how can she be in so many places at once?((((HUGS)))). I'm so sorry. You have my empathy.

fresco · 18/03/2005 15:48

why is it takinf so long KR.even ur hormons are ok, innit?

fresco · 18/03/2005 16:12

question for yous ladies: when u pg, does cervix go back to its pre ov position or does it remaain high as it is when ov?

popadopalis · 18/03/2005 18:06

Wow, I feel like I've been away for ages. My computer went kaput and I couldn't do anything on it. I was getting majorly stressed at not getting my daily fix!!

Katierocket - Poor you! It's horrible when she comes, the witch. Eat lots of chocolate and get drunk, drunk, drunk!

Roobedoo - Welcome and hello! I know what it's like to have long cycles. Mine are all over the place and I'm the most impatient person I know. I hate waiting for anything.

Well guys it's CD44 now. CD44? I've booked an appointment with the doctor for Tuesday cos I'm getting a bit worried now. This has NEVER happened to me before. Well I mean when I first came off the pill my first cycle was 47 days but then they seemed to get shorter and now it seems like I'm in limbo, not pg but no Af appearing. I dont get it. I'm trying not to get stressed about it and trying to stay calm but I'm fretting inside. What if there's something wrong with me? I'll have to be positive. It's so hard though.

jessicasmummy · 18/03/2005 18:51

hi guys,

hope you are all ok and getting loads of bding in this month.... well, except you Munnzie - not long now - i cant believe its only 3 weeks, doesnt seem that long ago it was more like 12 weeks!!!! We must start that military wives thread, ill let you do that though.... lets see if we get a few more people to chat to!!!

Good luck everyone.... hope it all goes your way very soon xxx (BTW if im having twins, ill have a spare baby going!!!! ONLY JOKING!)

Hulababy · 18/03/2005 20:50

Thanks cp3

(((hugs))) Sorry about AF katierocket; it will happen, I am sure. Fingers crossed for you.

Pop; what a nightmare situation.

munnzieb · 18/03/2005 21:54

ello all,

fresco - mash?? what is that when it's at home then? can't wait for 3 weeks to be up! YAY!!!! he's not rung yet, althou we did speak for about 1.5 hours over last weekend, so I suspect he's got no minutes left on his card! - doh! lol. I'm used to it now, so it's water off a ducks back really, and just get on with things, it could be worse - he could be in the navy - I hear those wives only get 20 mins a fortnight and half hour on the internet, at least DH gets 20 mins a week plus extra if we pay for it, so all in all I think we're bloomin lucky. also I've been sent a video from here, i've had a quick look and it's not really my thing, i'm going to see if one of my friends wants a lend, if she does/watches it, do u want me to forward it onto u, it's very good for the whole BBT and cervix/mucus thing.

Roo - good to see u here hon.

JM - r u back online now hon?

jessicasmummy · 19/03/2005 08:11

munnzie - yep - im back up and running - hoorah!!!!

munnzieb · 19/03/2005 08:36

JM - statred the new thread hon.

fresco · 19/03/2005 10:12

did u start new thread? which one?

popadopalis · 19/03/2005 11:32

Fresco - Munzie started a new thread for military wives not for TTCers.

Feeling a bit better today, sister cheered me up a bit and Dh is taking me out for dinner tonight to cheer me up and to celebrate me getting fab results on training I've done. Looking forward to doing something normal and fun! Not even thinking about the fact that I'm now CD45. Nope doesn't bother me at all. Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhh! No I'm okay, I'm going to be positive.
