Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

Hi Wannabe - I think that sounds really encouraging. Hi village too - welcome back. Hope you don't have to be on this thread for too long.

I am pretty sure ovulation was today or yesterday - temp has risen two days running but in small increments so guess will need another couple of days to see if rise is sustained. If so though I am now in 2ww. First week of which is so boring... anyone else at same stage as me?

Heeby i know this is a bit late but just found it while being slightly neurotic!

"As long as you have periods on a regular cycle of every 28 days, we calculate your due date as nine months and seven days from the first day of your last period"

It was on the Cow & Gate website. Not sure if it helps you or not but thought if you knew your due date you could figure out how many weeks you would be?

C1NDY · 14/11/2008 13:22

VillageMum Looking forward to having you join us. When you will be starting I will be over the bd stage and will proberly doing the 2WW! so it will be lovely to natter.

Pezzina · 14/11/2008 14:22

Yellowflowers it sounds as though you and I OV'd round about the same day - I'm so glad I'll have company for the dreaded 2WW. I've had temperature rises for the past two days. If it is still high tomorrow then I think FF will confirm OV day on my chart.

Elliegant · 14/11/2008 15:12

Hi All,

yellowflowers I have just started 2ww as well, lets hope its not too bad and that i don't become sympton spotting crazed again this month..

wasabipeanut · 14/11/2008 19:14

Aaarrrggghhh I have officially been an idiot and am now paying dearly.

Yesterday I felt a bit nauseous in the afternoon and on the spur of the moment did a test when I got in from work. A really faint sort of ghost line came up after about 5 mins and gradually got bluer but.....after the 10 minute time limit.

I thought it was prob an evap line so should check again this morning and the same thing happenned although it came up faster but still not within 10 mins.

I don't feel pregnant and have been spotting on and off all week and deep down I know these are prob evap lines so WHY did I test because now I am just really agitated and poor dh got his hopes up.

All I can do is wait and see I know unless AF turns up but I'm cross with myself now for putting myself and dh through this.

Heebychick · 14/11/2008 19:43

Tut tut wasabi but wait and see what happens, i hate the 'maybe maybe not' feeling, give it a few days, sit on your hands and try again.

Thanks wanabe re dates, i think i am going on a tuesday change over as that would be in the middle of 26 days and 28 days.

Gonna ring dr next friday and make an appt, might feel less anxious then, but still gonna ask for early scan.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but i now take any pg symptoms as a pinch of salt. I had totally different symptoms from usual months ie tingling in boobs like when the milk comes in, so was sort of convinced i was pg this month but AF did arrive. The body seems to know you are ttc and tricks you with news symptoms which you don't usually have as pmt so you think it must be pg signs but alas it is not. Next month i am definately symptom spotting.
Wasabi, sound promiding though - when AF due? x

yellowflowers · 14/11/2008 22:17

Hi Wasabi - finger's crossed. I had the same not last month but month before - very faint lines which become blue after the 10 mins - with clear blue tests. I wasn;t pregnant but had very sore boobs and metallic taste - I am sure this wasn't in the head because last month for example I got no symptoms - I am convinced it was something - sperm meeting egg but not implanting maybe. Good luck though.

Hi Pezzina and Elliegant - great to be on cycle with you. I hate this week when too early to symptom spot - so boring!

spats · 15/11/2008 14:08

i have decided to take agnus castus today in a bit to get my lp from 10-11 days to 14 so gives more chance for implantation. So no i take that, EPO and grapefruit juice and have come off my daily antihistamine as that drys up the mucus. And am going to to DH plan. THis is getting more technical than a NASA mission!!! x

whitebeachesandcoconutoil · 15/11/2008 15:19

spats · 15/11/2008 17:26

VillageMum · 15/11/2008 18:40

Thanks Cindy, Yellow, Wanabe - AF should be here early next week and will start the DP on cd8... will be buying in supplies of grapefruit juice meanwhile! x

whitebeachesandcoconutoil · 15/11/2008 18:46

oh well i have always got this month last month was my fault i was'nt as comitted as i could have been but my poor darling lo was v v v unsettled starting pre school.
but as i said in another post i start getting paranoid that maybe me not 'fitting' it in was realyy fates way of saying i should'nt have another.
i told you i was paranoid

funtimewincies · 15/11/2008 19:15

Hi, just checking progress.

Whitebeaches - it's also my birthday on Thursday , think that bubbly sounds a marvellous plan! Sorry to hear that AF has shown her ugly face.

Good luck all for the next batch of testing.

VillageMum · 15/11/2008 19:22

whitebeaches, I think we make our own fate - you go make it happen girl! Sorry to hear your lo has been unsettled; I'm always totally affected when ds is unhappy too so I know what you mean... just can't 'compartmentalise'. Good luck this month!

Wasabi hang in there! x

Sans04 · 16/11/2008 03:23

Hi everyone

sorry I was away for a few days I couldn't post due to weekend family visitors.
sorry to hear that af gotten you white huggs for you dear.
Heebychick yes I do have a lovely DS 4.5 years old, I had him naturally even I was contracepting but still hapened and without knowing myselfe either I got pg and I found out when I was 6 weeks and 4 days, but know It's almost 2 years that I am trying fot No.2.
BeckyMcG hung in there hopfully you going to get BFP soon huggs....

whitebeachesandcoconutoil · 16/11/2008 08:54

thanks all for your regards.
i have a really daft question when do you count your first day is it from when the bleeding starts 'proper' or from when you get a'show' because lately i have been'showing' for a couple or three days before i actually bleed.

smileycat · 16/11/2008 09:48

Morning all
Sorry white that the witch got to you, fingers crossed for next month. I started the DP on Friday & I am keeping to it at the moment. Did my 1st OPK this morning as I'm on CD10 & it didn't give me a smiley face although wasn't expecting it to just yet, but when I took the test stick out of the machine it did have a lighter blue line so looks like its on its way just not strong enough yet, my temp is doing exactly what it did last month at this stage so I'm happy that I'm bang on course at the moment. Hope you're all having a great wkend

smileycat · 16/11/2008 09:49

white they count the first day as the first day you have a proper 'red' bleed

Heebychick · 16/11/2008 09:51

whitebeaches hi, i asked a smilar thing last month and think it's from the first actual proper day, at least that' what i was counting and it seems to fit in with expected dates of AF.

(((hugs to all))) how are you all doing?

Pezzina · 16/11/2008 10:44

Hi everyone

Hope you're all well? Just dropping in quickly as have got friends coming over for early dinner and have got lots to do before they come.

I'm currently on 4 DPO - nothing to report, I'm trying not to sympton spot. I wake up every morning and recite my mantra - must not sympton spot, must not sympton spot - don't know how much longer I'll last though

yellowflowers · 16/11/2008 10:58

Fertility friend puts my ovulation day on cd19 and we had sex on cd 18 and 20 - grrrrr, can't believe we missed the right day. I know FF not precise and also the day 18 sperm probably still alive but still so annoyed we missed the actual day.

Hello ladies. I was wondering if I might join you. I have been mostly reading for a couple of weeks but have just started a new month and am starting TTC for the first time.

I have no idea how easy it will be but I have found out recently that I have a bicornate uterus - higher risk of MC and complications later on.

Anyway I am on CD 5 and just bd'd for the fun of it - well sunday afternoon is my favourite time

I have the grapefruit juice and the ovulation sticks and am ready to go.

Anyway hello!
