Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

hi deeja, welcome. a bicornate uterues - hmm thats a new one on me, hopefully you won't have too many problems with it. fingers crossed for you.
This sounds silly as i'm not pg as AF has been here for about 5 days but my boobs still feel a bit heavy and one of them is , don't know how to describe it really, like little tightenings every noe and again. Its a bit annoying and i never have had this before. THis month i had funny sensation like when the milk comes in which made me think maybe it was my month but alas no. I would have thought all pmt symptoms should have gone now as 5 days into AF. SHould i be worried about this sign, maybe something horrid happening to me?

funtimewincies · 16/11/2008 19:05

Hello, deeja. Glad to hear that you've stocked up on grapefruit juice (like a good girl, have one here by the computer as I type).

A friend of mine has a bicornate uterus and has had several mcs, something to do with where the egg decides to implant. HOWEVER, she is now pootling nicely through her 2nd trimester and blooming beautifully and .

I'm now gearing up for probable AF this week (1st since mc) and I've never been so desperate for the wich to arrive, so that we can start ttc again (and so that I can post more often without feeling like a fraudulent interloper ).

VillageMum · 16/11/2008 22:43

funtime, hello, I'm also waiting for AF to arrive this week (in my case second since mc) and will be starting to ttc too - know what you mean about feeling a bit fraudulent posting here till then, but the girls have been great and a huge support! (was going to ttc last cycle but then panicked and backed off because I didn't feel ready yet - so this is the month!)

yellowflowers · 16/11/2008 23:01

Hi - you're def not fraudulent - we need your advice and experience too as well as wanting to support you.

Hi Everyone,

Heeby I am well thanks, but still have not ovulated yet!! my OPK are still not showing a positive and I am usually on a 28 cycle. My FF shows that I should have ovulated yesterday, so am totally confused what to do. I am still doing the DP and am missing a day and bd the next... should I still continue or do you think I have not ovulated yet???

Above question to anyone that can answer - much appreciated Going a little crazy Cindy

yellowflowers · 17/11/2008 08:58

Hi C1ndy - no advice from me I'm afraid. I am so confused by what is right.
My temp dipped today (4dpo) - no idea what this means. aaaaargh

OP posts:
Pezzina · 17/11/2008 10:06

Cindy - as you haven't had a positive OPK I would continue BDing every other day - just to be on the safe side. FF is usually right but I would just want to make sure.

smileycat · 17/11/2008 10:27

Hi ladies
C1ndy is FF going by your temps or by what you have told it?, If its your temps they are usually right, if its what you have told it ie CM, cervix etc its probably going by previous months & giving you an expected OV date, but I would carry on with DP just incase.
My OPK was neg this morning, but by my dates from the last couple of cycles I should OV Wed or Thurs so I should get a pos tomorrow or Wed, my first month of OPK so new to all this.
yellow my temp after I OV'd last month went up & down a little but stayed above my baseline until AF, but it did do quite a big dip on DPO7 which I thought (hoped) might have been an implantation dip (wasn't) then went back up to what it had been for the 7 days past OV. As long as there is a definate rise from what it was before OV & it's staying there I wouldn't worry too much about it dropping slightly, when AF is about due..thats another story [sad, but at DPO4 I wouldn't stress too much

VillageMum · 17/11/2008 10:35

yellow, just to add to what smiley has said: I've read that occasional dips in the luteal phase are normal, even dips below the coverline, so don't worry - doesn't mean anything either way as long as there's a pattern of high temps in that second half of the cycle. (And thanks for your kind words, they've cheered me up in my grim premenstrual state!)

Cindy, I'd just continue with the DP as if you're about to ov; you're sure to in a day or two!

heeby, hope you are feeling well!

Deeja · 17/11/2008 10:56

Thanks Funtime - it's reasuring to hear that people do end up having pregnancies to term. I am a bit scared though.

Still There is no time like the present to just hope for the best but be prepared for some hard times.

Last week I was very pleased to have my cycle start....it felt like aha now I realise why I have had to go through this all my life - now I can see it for what it is. An amazing baby making process.

yellowflowers · 17/11/2008 11:25

thanks village and smiley - am in funny mood today - emotional and also worried because am self-employed and work has totally dried up. eeek.

pinkie08 · 17/11/2008 11:43

Morning everyone, c1ndy

I think if you read the DP plan it says that you keep going on the everyother day bding until day 35 and then if still not ovualted take a HPT test.

It assumes that you can ovualte anytime over 10 days between cd10 - cd20 hence the 10 OPK sticks. What cd are you on ?

Hope that helps

WanabeMum · 17/11/2008 12:13

Hey ladies,
Sorry haven't been around all weekend don't think i even turned my computer on was so busy! I'm flying away next Sunday for a fortnight so tying up some loose ends like buying the xmas cards and wrapping paper ready!

Anyway AF arrived a little early this month, on Saturday. Not disappointed as was totally expecting it and now it means my OV will be while im on holiday, so that's nice! We will have more of a chance I think.

Hey Funtime nice to see you posting! you are so not fraudulent, you are one of the original crew and we need your advice and experience (even when it's as horrid as it has been for you). It helps me to stay focussed and grounded. Will be nice to have everyone back and ttc again. Hopefully your BFP wont be too far away! Same for the rest of us too!!

Ladies I have a fabulous feeling about this month! after all, if i am successful this time I will find out 3 days before Christmas. How perfect would that be? We can but hope!! Keep smiling ladies, and Deeja you have a great outlook! what a fab way to get through those monthly AF's by thinking of them as a means to an end. Very good idea I think

Elliegant · 17/11/2008 12:31

Hi all,

First chance I have had to catch up for a few days as we were away for the weekend.. Hope you all happy and positive today.

Welcome Deeja, nice to have you on board.

Bit of a boring week for me as on 2ww, trying not to sympton spot and nothing really happening anyway.

wannabe Great that you will be able to put plan into action whilst on holiday.

Pezzina · 17/11/2008 16:36

Big Yellow ? these are stressful times re: work and money worries ? so it?s only understandable you are feeling emotional ? especially when TTC on top of running your own business.

My DH got the bad news he was being made redundant on Friday. He was wonderful though as the first thing he said was ?don?t worry, this is definitely not going to change our plans of trying for a baby? I jumped for joy because I did worry we would have to put plans on hold and he must have sensed that.

The 2WW is the worst, I am trying very hard not to symptom spot and keep busy.

Elliegant · 17/11/2008 16:55

*Pezzina, so sorry about redundancy, we were in same boat 2 years ago so I know what a shock it can be but your DH sounds wonderful so I am sure you will pull through it together.

Pezzina · 17/11/2008 16:59

Thanks Ellie - my DH is remaining positive about it - looking at it as a new challenge - which is helping me to stay positive too. He is wonderful, I'm a very lucky girl

yellowflowers · 17/11/2008 17:04

pezzina - he sounds like a complete find. Hope it works out better for him soon.x

OP posts:
Elliegant · 17/11/2008 17:06

pezzina, thats great its no good getting down about it because it is out of your hands and with that good attitude I'm sure he will turn things around. In retrospect it was the best thing that could have happened for us as my dh ended up with a much better position.

As for the 2ww, i am fed up already.. desperately want at least one symptom.

spats · 17/11/2008 19:21

pezzina sorry about redundancy, hope he gets soemthing else soon. My laptop is broken so may not be able to log in as much which is depressing, what will i do without my daily chats? Don't forget about me if i am away to long. Its coming up to CD8 and following DH plan so need to start some BD soon which DH is excited about. GOing to Dr to get blood work done as well, may stretch the truth and say been trying 6 months and as over 35 next month they hopefully will look at me now rather than the year needing to wait for the yonger amongst us!! Good luck to everyone teesting in next few days and happy BD ing to all the others. Will probably log in at work if get chance on Wed - I am getting withdrawal symptoms already !! x

funtimewincies · 17/11/2008 19:50

Sorry to hear the rotten luck pezzina. Your dh is spot on though about keeping to ttc. There is never a good time to have a ankle-biter, financially.

Lovely to hear from you Wanabe and you've made me feel heaps better . Have a lovely time on your hols.

C1NDY, I'd keep bd'ing until you're sure that you've ov'd (passes over a sustaining bar of choccy).

Sorry to hear that you're feeling fed up Ellie. Symptoms are over-rated, they just mess with your head . Not much help, I know, sorry .

Pezzina · 17/11/2008 19:55

Thanks everyone - you are such a lovely bunch!

smileycat · 18/11/2008 09:11

Pezzina so sorry to hear about DH, I had the same 2 years ago & I'm much happier now so don't give up hope it will all work out for the best in the end.
I'm in such a good mood today got a big smiley face on my OPK this morning, so should OV anytime in the next 48 hrs, told DH to be on standby as soon as he gets home. We have managed to BD the last 3 nights & w'll give it all we can over the next couple of days, so if I'm not pg by the end of this month....... I'm glad I'm OVing now as we are flying back to UK on Thurs till Mon so I won't be able to get to a computer to record my temps etc, but should get my temp rise to say I have Ov'd before I go & it also means we can relax & BD for fun while we are away instead of all this timed stuff. The 2WW begins........

smileycat · 18/11/2008 09:27

VillageMum · 18/11/2008 09:43

pezzina, your dh sounds great! I'm finding that the whole ttc thing (in our case ttc after mc) has actually helped us to talk all sorts of other things through; do you find that too?

yellow, I'm also self employed so I totally understand. I'm just trying to coast through work insecurities at the moment - as funtime said above, there's never a perfect time to get pg and somehow it just has to fit around the other stresses of life... Hope you're feeling OK today.

Still waiting for AF but I see from the list that I'd worked out it's actually due tomorrow, so will try not to get neurotic!
