Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

Hello
omg jools I am so sorry. that must be a rally hard for you look after yourself honey. lots of big hugs to you.

Pezzina · 12/11/2008 07:30

Heeby - it certainly does sound confusing. I guess you're right and it will be 4 weeks at 28 days. Maybe best to go with the shorter time for now until they can give you a definite length of time when you go for your scan?

I had good news yesterday - I finally got a positive OPK - woohoooo! I had really started to wonder whether they were working for me as I had thought I had ov'd on Monday. I'm so glad we hadn't stopped BDing. Hoorah for the Deanna Plan.

smileycat · 12/11/2008 08:16

Jools big big hug to you hunny, our thoughts are with you xx

C1NDY · 12/11/2008 08:42

Hi all,

Jools1 really sorry to hear your news. I know it is an awful time... we are all hear to support you through this difficult time. ((((Hugs))))

Spats sorry AF has arrived. It does seem that it will never happen but believe me when its your time it will happen. Just think we have all the tools to get that bfp and it will happen. It just a matter of time... Don't give up hope...

BeckyMcG congratulations, don't worry too much... "positive thoughts" and you will get through. Your last MC is history, (your'll never forget but) its now the present time and concentrate on the little bean growing inside you. Look after yourself and take things easy, that's all you can do.

pinkie08 · 12/11/2008 09:10

SO sorry Jools it is hard but you will feel better.

Eat lots, drink lots nurture yourself and your DH and you'll be back to fighting strength in no time.

I think they say vitamin B for emotions and nerves so top up on that.

Lots of ((((((hugs)))))

yellowflowers · 12/11/2008 09:47

Day 18 today and still no sign of ovulation (though have had cycles up to 36 days before so possible just not happened yet). Temp dipped today again so graph currently had 2 recent dips. Have managed to bd so far on days 7/8/10/12/15/16/18 so not quite deanna plan but nearly.

OP posts:
pinkie08 · 12/11/2008 10:50

Yellow

I wouldnt worry too much about sticking exactly to the DP. I think the idea is that there is a constant reserve of fresh swimmers around

The only time anyone should not do consecutive days is when the docs have told them not to.

I have started the DP early and FF says my fertile days are 17th -20th nov, am going to back this up with the OPKs and the DP.

Also the dip in temp could mean its on its way so if you still doing OPKs i bought cheapie ones and did morning and afternoon so couldnt miss it. Obsessive but worth it.

yellowflowers · 12/11/2008 11:00

Hi pinkie - about to do an opk now. Bought a stash of 20 online so have plenty to keep me going - am just surprised none of them have even shown even a faint line which they usually do even on none ovulating days. If it doesn't work this weekend I am not sure dh will agree to deanna plan again next month - he seems exhausted.

First acupuncture session tomorrow though.

VillageMum · 12/11/2008 11:02

jools, so very sorry you are going through this... xxx

Pezzina · 12/11/2008 11:08

Hi Yellow don't give up yet - I nearly didn't do an OPK last night as I was sure I had OV'd on Monday and then I got a positive OPK. Couldn't believe it.

I jumped on my DH when he got home .

However, I know what you mean about all the BDing. I think I will be everso slightly relieved when my OV is confirmed as we have now BDed every single day for the past 5 days and quite frankly I think both me and my DH need some days off

yellowflowers · 12/11/2008 11:13

hi pezzina - just did opk and nothing. If I amhaving a 35/36 cycle as sometimes happens then I guess I would ovulate on day 21 which is Sat. DH is out late with the boys on Fri night so I reckon I will jump him Fri am then sat pm.

Oh Jools I am so terriby, terribly sorry to read your news. I'm sure that you and your dp can pull together and get through this.

At times it never ceases to amaze me how the process of conception and pregnancy can be so utterly ruthless and cruel.

WanabeMum · 12/11/2008 13:34

Oh Jools I'm so sorry!! I was completely convinced that this was your time.
Big hugs honey, take care of yourself and do all the things over Christmas that you wouldn't have been able to do. I'm so sorry, can't imagine what you are going through xxxxxxxx

Heebychick · 12/11/2008 16:00

pezzina don't give up yet honey! it'll be worth it trust me!

i must go on to the deana plan website and tell them it worked first time for us!

wasabipeanut · 12/11/2008 16:09

Congratulations Becky

From what I remember your schedule was pretty impressive so you are a good advert for frequency!!

Welcome Sans !! Come on in, the water is lovely

Well, I'm fairly sure AF is sue to arrive very shortly as been spotting since Sunday. Grrr. This whole cycle hs been completely off the usual pattern - AF that lasted 12 days (!), ov at day 18 and then spotting 8 days later - aaarrggghhhhh. Just want to get it over with now. I would normally be due today bit with 2 days late ov that would make it Friday.

Sans04 · 13/11/2008 05:31

Hi to All

Thank you WanabeMum and wasabipeanut I really apretiate your support all of you as I am in Australia I feel alone sometimes, but since I am on this thread it helped me alot thank you very much to all of you, I am not a mad lady about not getting pregnant anymore. thank you

Heebychick · 13/11/2008 09:42

So girls - seeing as Becky and i are examples of 'frequency counts' get to bed with you all!!!

Wow sans all the way over the water! Welcome, and at least you have sunshine, that has to be a good sign (Heeby sits shivering in her cold office!)
Do you have any more children? (sorry if you posted this already?)

yellowflowers · 13/11/2008 09:55

We're trying for frequency but dh put foot down last night and said no to last night or this morning! (He had bd with me yesterday morning though so I guess fine he wants a break). This is he has boys night out fri night which probs rules out fri night (drunk) and sat am (hungover) but he did agree to try tonight or tomorrow am. phew.

First acupuncture session today

pinkie08 · 13/11/2008 11:27

heebychick

Just how frequent was frequent, Ray stuck to everyother day up to her opk +ive and then went for morning and night.

I am going for frequency this month as only got one more cycle of clomid left after this one.

My Dh is still on the basis that the more the better so isnt a prob getting frequency numbers up, no little kids in the house DD is 8, and he neverrrrr gets up to her if she needs anything

WanabeMum · 13/11/2008 12:14

Ok ladies, so i've already decided that this month im out. So tell me then why i am still symptom spotting?!!

I am 10DPO today. Went to the loo this morning and saw 2 very tiny brown spots in my knickers, very unintentionally i add! Nothing since. Then just as i was coming out of a meeting just now i had a mild but noticable cramp. Only the one mind you and now nothing. There is no frequency of urinating, no tender breasts, nothing!

I just need someone to slap me please as i'm almost positive that af will arrive on monday. Help!!!!!!!!! I need a reality check!!

smileycat · 13/11/2008 12:17

On CD7 today, BD'd last night will have tonight off then start DP tomorrow. Think its a good idea when the opk says + to go for it morn & night, DH says he's up for 3 times during pos bit as we are away in a hotel in UK for family gathering & DS can go & play with his cousins while we sneak back for a quicky. DH has big smile on his face now & says he's more than looking forward to next wkend now

wasabipeanut · 13/11/2008 12:18

Wanabe I totally sympathise. I have been spotting on and off since Sunday and even though I know in my heart of hearts I am not pg I still can't lose the tiny little sliver of hope.

The cramps I am currently feeling would perhaps tell me otherwise.

smileycat · 13/11/2008 12:26

Wannabe* I've decided not to sysmtom spot this month (remind me of that in a wks time) as I've read back over my chart for the last 2 months & have seen that pretty much since the day I OV'd on both months I have had sore boobs & cramps right up to the day of AF. I also had a migraine on both months & felt as though I had to pee more...our minds play nasty tricks on us & make us beleive things are there when they are not, thats not to say that yours could be the real thing. I'm just not going to let my body rule my mind this month & try & get on with it until the day AF is due, then test if no AF, then analyse then month if it turns out to be positive...watch this space I bet I end up sysmtom spotting more than ever as I've told myself not too

yellowflowers · 13/11/2008 12:29

Hi smiley, wasabi and wannabe - you are all right of course, but I am an optimist really so am still holding out hope for you.

WanabeMum · 13/11/2008 13:12

Thanks ladies! i feel that im grounded again now (well sort of!).
Yellow you're right to be an optimist, it's better than the other option. Although i find myself, like smiley & wasabi, quietly optimistic every month only for another dissapinotment. It's just the way im trying to deal with it this month i guess. i'll be back to my normal knicker checking neurotic self next month no doubt!
