TTC while still bf'ing and no period???

Just wondering if it is possible to TTC while I'm still bf'ing and my period hasn't returned? DD is 7 months old next week. OPK's never worked for me first time around...so will we just have to "do the deed" daily and hope for the best? Or is it highly unlikely I would be able to get pregnant until my period returns?

I'm not sure. Bumping, I'm sure someone will know. I stopped bf when ds was 1 year and it still took me a while to conceieve.

Just happened to a friend of mine on first attempt - she is still BFing 14mth old and no return of period.

I'm sure it could happen, afterall you will ovulate before you have a period and that is when you could conceive.

There are about a zillion threads about this answering yes, but once again for good measure YES! Me! DS if four months old, had a miscarriage the month before I conceived him and DD is 2.1 and still breastfeeding. No periods. Nada. Daily sex will definitely give you a good shot.
